What Happened To The Pictures In My Threads?

I have noticed most of the pics in my threads have disappeared.
I imagine the new copyright laws are in full swing, and I am wondering for future posts, how to tell what we can embed or not? Perhaps listing the credit of photographer below each pic? Is there a reference guide or new guidelines? What different rules are there now that were not in place at times of threads?

You didn't delete those pics in your "My Pictures" page did you?


If they're no longer saved on your pictures page, they won't show up in your threads anymore.

Why yes I did delete them from my Pics. Thank you for the info, lesson learned. I will gather them back up and see if it makes a difference.

Just a warning: if you re-upload them to your MediaAboveTopSecret pictures folder, they will get new auto-generated names and urls. They won't just pop back up in your posts, the posts would have to be edited and the old urls replaced with the new ones.

Ah dude, we've all done it!!

When I did it I u2u'ed a mod and he was awesome, he went through and inserted the new pics for me on two of my threads. What a great thing to do!
