Guess where your fluoride comes from? China!

www.naturalnews.com

Much of the fluoride added to municipal water supplies across the United States is imported from China, and is contaminated with heavy metals, according to a warning by Bernard Miltenberger, president of the Pure Water Committee of Western Maryland.

What has happened to industrial manufacturing in this country? America used to be swimming in natural resources, now we're swimming in trade-imbalance created debt! We can't even mine our own water purification:

www.atsdr.cdc.gov...

There has been no fluorspar mine production in the United States since 1996; supplies were imported or purchased from the National Defense Stockpile... In 2001, the main fluorspar-producing countries, in order of importance, were China, Mexico, South Africa, Russia, Spain, and France (USGS 2002b).

Whereas China can afford to ship chemicals overseas, without even bothering to remove valuable heavy metals:

www.naturalnews.com...

The report noted that the fluoridation chemicals used for the city's water had been evaluated, and were found to contain lead levels of 40 milligrams per bag and arsenic levels of 50 milligrams per bag. The bags were being imported from China under no regulatory monitoring of acid or salt content.

wiki.answers.com...

gram of Arsenic (As) is $3.20 for 1 gram.

Is this how our country is supposed to remain competitive in the global economy?

Chinese fluoride is a homeland security matter

We can no longer trust our local governments to do the right thing for its citizens. I find it so ironic that the same federal government that is demanding small communities under the clean water act, like Mount Savage to join to the Frostburg Regional water supply, because of an overt concern over possible ground water contamination, then allows this toxic waste byproduct from China to enter this country and be added to this same regional water supply.

Keep an eye on your local water treatment facilities -- who knows when they'll decide to 'outsource'!

Fluoride is an interesting topic. Introduced into our water supply because it was a waste product from then newly realized industrial processes...without any real scientific oversight and a crap ton of proprietary propaganda backed by the people who had money at the time...

China is now shipping it?

Based on their huge country and their recent push into "Industrial Age" energy production, I'm thinking that there is a huge disconnect on international relations and more of a focus from corporate shadows...

Thanks for the thread...they're doing it "anyway"...wonderful...

What amazes me is how the pseudosceptical following of Quackwatch's Stephen Barrett can claim no peer reviewed scientific studies were ever published about fluoride negative toxicological effects.

Have they checked scholarly academic indexing databases lately?

fluoride is a poison; It has a poison labels on the bags it is shipped in. The fluoride in the water is used to reduce our inhibitions, pretty much making us passive as a population.

Aluminium worsens fluoride's toxicity.

Try to find a pure sodium bicarbonate.

yet 1 more problem to deal with if switching to alternatives...

Exactly! It would be ironic if the fluoride were contaminated with vitamins and healthy dietary supplements, wouldn't it?
