Hi there.

So as you guessed, I'm new here, only been lurking for a couple of days so far but I liked what I saw and what i read (even if some of it is totally hard to believe, no offence to anyone's views intended).

Anyway, a little about myself.
I'm from the UK, England to be exact, twenty-one, work full time as a creative director of a educational resources company. I'm a firm Athiest, I believe the Scientific approach to Life and the construction of Earth more than the Biblical side. In saying that I used to study Wicca and Paganism, yet only actively practised aspects of Wicca as well as Runes and Tarot cards. I'm not sure what to believe on the Paranormal side of things, I've seen many strange things, and been on many (unprofessional) ghost hunts. (Mainly including a friend with a car, and many other wetblankets who heard a rustle and ran screaming). As far as Aliens are concerned, I believe there's something out there, I'm just not sure I believe the theories of the 'typical' alien look, ie; big black eyes and grey skin with long fingers. I've only recently got into 'conspiracy theories' and even if my personal views on some are very farfetched, I think a lot of things posted on this site make perfect sense. Forgive any typing errors, I currently have a sprained wrist so typing is very difficult.

I'm currently studying various aspects of the 'occult' but NOT actively practising them. (I've played with a Ouija Board before with my stupid sister-in-law, and even then it was drawn on a sheet of paper with her messing around.) I've practised Automatic Writing with what I can describe as very strange results (handwriting unlike my own, dreamlike state that made me drowsy, hard to open eyes when finished etc etc). I don't consider myself to have a psychic ability, I think I'm just more open to accept things around me, I'm far more aware of what could be than what isn't. I also try and translate nightmares by help of guides and books I've read in the past, so that would be fun to dish out, if anybody has had any weird, dark nightmares.

Hopefully I can find some nice people to chat to, some people to share my stories with and to listen to theirs.

Thank you!
As far as the Paranormal goes, I'd rather go out and investigate myself than watch a lot of these shows. For instance, Most Haunted, VERY amusing to watch but nothing there to actually get excited about, except for that one episode where I actually think those clowns might have caught something interesting.
With shows like that floating around it's no wonder there's a lot of skeptics out there :/

Welcome to the site. It would indeed be spectacular if your threads and contributions were to contain your own research.

I look forward to seeing anything you might want to add.

I used to watch a lot of paranormal shows out there but then realized a lot of it is faked, or so it would seem. I have seen stuff with my own eyes, and thats all the proof I need that there is more than meets the eye. All you can do is investigate for yourself. You own your own thoughts, its your world, this is your reality. It is improper I think to live your life through someone else's discoveries or beliefs.

I hope I can contribute to the best of my ability. There's a lot I will admit that I don't fully understand, but I hope to add something constructive to someone on here :]

Exactly. It's improper to live your life behind a veil. There's a lot to be discovered in the world, and if you don't get up and do something about it then life will just be one big bore.

Glad to see likeminded people on here, discussion with my friends always results in strange looks thrown in my direction.

Like I've always said I can spot an agenda a mile away.....well perhaps further away than that! Anytime someone wants to tread upon your free will. Run away. As fast as you can.
