We do outdoor meetings and even occasionally a degree or two outdoors.

I don't see why meeting in a cave would be significant?

Dirty Masons

They meet in a lodge
They meet in a Dodge!

There's one named Sam
Sometimes they eat ham.

They are brazenly brave
They met in a cave!

They meet over there
they meet over here
They meet on the square
their meetings are queer

Some of them are scary
some of them are nerdy
but let us agree
those damn masons are dirty!

As per the announcement web page:

20 or so references to food vs. 2 references to meetings.

Is it just me or does this point to the fact that this nefarious secret society require incentives to show up to plan the end of the world? Hmmm...that makes them just like every church service project ever conceived!

I am disappointed that I'm going to miss this. I don't live too far from this and I went to it a few years ago. It was a blast. It's an annual thing we do that is a change to the norm. We've done Masonic meetings on my family property in the middle of the forest. We also do annual treks up to the historical buildings like that found in Silver City or Idaho City.

Wow I am amazed at all the orbs in the 2 photos. All of the prior Masons must have been there too!

an now you know the true secret we have been hiding for all these years.
We can't do anything without a meal being involved.

Thats the whole reason why I joined the Craft is for a good meal once a month. Its my turn this month I think I am the youngest member of the lodge and I dont have a woman that cooks, so I already told the Master that I am ordering pizzas.

Yes, because using food is something only church's do. [/sarc] While we may enjoy the good fellowship, we do enjoy our food. When we do the annual Silver City meeting some of the Brethren do dutch oven cook-offs.

Wow good stuff, I really enjoy hearing and learning about the Free Masons.

Wow, what a barren and unforgiving land those pictures show. No trees, the diversity is sparse at best.

Even if no one knew of this cave, and it was some secret place to go escape the end times, I would likely pass on using it. Maybe for a CME that burns the surface of the lands, but to survive I would seek better more hospitable ground.

I didn't catch if this was public land or not, but I vote giving this parcel to the Chinese! LOL I am just joking, I think the Chinese need to face they made a bad investment! Say, "C'est la vie", such is life!

As for the scary old dudes, the snake on the grill never had a chance!

I haven't seen that many orbs in a pic unless it was in a graveyard.

Orbs = dust. . I have had many photos ruined by the stuff. .

umm.....the dutch oven is a bit different where I come from. It involves a bed sheet, a bed, your spouse, and some baked beans. The pain endured after the fact is always worth it.

"My Brother, we are going to be having a bit of a Masonic Education round table at the camp at the Robert Burns #97 Mahluer Cave Degree this year. We are interested the viewpoints and ideas of those who sit and ponder Masonic things outside of Lodge. The Degree is open to all Master Masons in good standing .
It is one of the most fun times a Mason can have at Lodge. I hope you can make it out there"

That's off my Facebook wall. I been looking forward to going to that.

I dont know about all the EVIL SCARY masons.
I do know about my grand father who was an active mason for years
and was probably one of the most honest persons i ever had the priviledge to know....They helped a lot of people raising money for different charities and such....

now to the real reply....give me 10k and I bet I can get to the end of the lava tube and I will even film it for you

To which post are you referring to? Any hints, or just a drive-by post?
