Has ANYONE been watching Fox News recently?

I mean really watching them. Take a look see once in awhile. I attempt to watch all the MSM to see what they are covering. It almost seems like the channel is beginning to toe the elitist line.

I know there are those that are saying that it is controlled opposition. But I am beginning to see something even more conspiratorial. Almost as if they are letting someone hang out to dry.

Is it just me? It almost seems like the neo cons are beginning to distance themselves from one person in particular?

Actually, until one person showed up, I never paid much attention to the likes of Hannity or O'Reilly. Now we have Fox Business coming in and espousing the libertarian movement and it seems like the regular Fox Channel to moving leftward or neo con/liberal ward.

Maybe I am seeing something that is not there, but I have been correct in the past on trends. To reiterate, I have NEVER followed Hannity or O'Reilly talking points, they are COMPLETELY neo cons. Or in other words, progressives/control freaks. But it seems to be spreading to the other segments.

Am I wrong?

I watch fox news alot. I dont understand them being biased to some people. yeah they are biased but they do have some balance. I will say as soon a juan williams and glenn beck came on it has went more libertarian.dont mistake that for more 'liberal' which fox news is not.

I'm not sure what you mean by progressive and control freaks. Can you give some simple examples?

I dont watch Fox news but I thought I would drop into your post and get some news .... Well what cant you say about fox that hasn"t been shown before ...nothing new move along .

What I think you are seeing is what many have seen before you. But all the words will not show you until you see it yourself. Keep watching and trying to figure it out. One day you will realize how they are leading people to support their own agenda. I still watch the news. Don't think this is a left/right thing both sides do it. Now is the time for everyone to think for themselves and stop listening to supposed experts that are there to tell you what to think is possible and what has to happen for every given issue.

I have always watched all sides of the MSM. But what I am finding over the last couple years is beginning to be frightening. They are almost seperating those that do not believe in big government, into a thin slice of the debate.

It is almost looking to be completely planned. If I am wrong, the people I am talking about will not be vilified, if I am right, you will see something to bring in those that are calling for individual freedom. Something so horrific, that those that are opposed to tyranny, have to comply with the mandates.

It almost seems like it was scripted.

My conspiratorial mind, or my ability to see patterns? Oh well, I guess totalitarianism is a end point that has to be reached before the next systemic switch.

For the others, what I am talking about is like the health care bill. The financial reform bill. Etc.

They seem to be against these things, yet they give anyone air time that wants it. They seem to be against it, yet a lot of times they actually push the same agenda.

It seems like a controlled opposition.

Fox does have sponsors ya know
Certain sponsors go with certain ideological
programming.

And just like TPTB
they fund both sides of the arguments

Why is it that Fox news seems to be going the way of the totalitarian state?

Leaving ONE person blowing in the wind?

Then creating another channel where they put the libertarians and the people that PUSH Constitutional government to a channel that is NOT on everyone's cable or satellite channel list? Money only? Or purposeful.

That is what I am asking.

Well with all due respect my friend, I think you CAN thank FOX for advancing some of your sentiments...

you are in a lucky time, where your ideas will be used as a blunt force object to
get the "Neocon" agenda back on track, back into power, etc...

But unfortunately I believe the majority are "liberal" (per your view), people love their government, for some it is the military strength - "neocon", to Death panels "progressives". Your views are not as popular as you might think in that YOU and
Neocons share some views on taxes and the unfettered opporation of business. The GOP, which frankly represents the popular appoximation of your views IS using the extremity of some of your sentiments to capitalize because it is easy and popular right now. FOX is trying to get back in there, politically they have to come more to the center, YOU and MANY who are rallying for what you rally for are being used. It's not
nice and you tend to be too (???????) to listen, but its clear my man, been for a long while.

Fox is doing their job, conservatism will reemerge, or at least the brand that has always been practiced in modern America will. I mean, I am NEVER going to get what I want, same will be true for you. You will get more tax cuts, per your economic views, business's will be free to do what they want AND (important and) the rules put in place by the government to mitigate the abusive use of the government constructs in place will also disappear.

But I think you are in for a lifetime of disappointment, I hope one day you become more aware of you vs. the world around you, if not for your own sanity.

The greatest misnomer people have in regards to FOXNEWS is actually thinking it is a journalistic new agency. They are a 21st century form of yellow sensationalistic prostitution of journalism. Everyone should remember FOXNEWS is owned and controlled by Rupert Murdoch. Murdoch is a very active member of the Bilderberg Group. Murdoch intentions to build a global mass media network intent on manipulation, propaganda, and control of how masses of populations view and believe should be self-evident to anyone who still has somehow held onto an open and pragmatic mindset. However to the query of this post, I think it has been obvious over the course of the last few years FOXNEWS has been increasing its mass manipulation and propaganda machine; the most obvious example is how they almost single-handily promoted and created the Tea Party movement. Regardless of my personal convictions it is very impressive the success they have had in convincing common middle class people to believe in the idea big business and multinational corporations should somehow be trusted more than their duly elected government officials.

The techniques the Murdoch media machine has used in building a mass global financial media outlet to be used to obtain the goals of the Bilderberg Group makes me wonder if they have borrowed from the concepts Isaac Asimov wrote about in his series of books which is commonly called the Foundation Series. In this series Asimov proposes an idea of mathematical sociology, which he calls psychohistory. Asimov proposes sociological mathematical laws which can be used to predict the future; but only on the larger scale contexts. The central theme is that by using mathematical economic, cultural, and sociological equations the mass behavior of people can be predicted. I wouldn’t be surprised if Asimov may have stumbled upon an idea in which in the present very powerful people could be perfecting. However, don’t get me wrong I do not think FOXNEWS stands alone in being guilty of this new form of yellow sensationalized journalism, you can find the same stuff by watching MSNBC, CNN, BBC, or any big corporate 24/7 news agency. My only hope is someday people will wake up, while beginning to think for themselves instead of waiting for their favorite news commenter to tell them what to think, until then I think we all will continue to watch these modern day yellow sensationalized journalistic news agencies to continue to flex their muscle in the continued manipulation of the gregarious masses of the unknowing populace.

I dont watch TV, so maybe thats why I dont get what you are trying to say. TV is about programming you with certain beliefs. I cant say if what you are experiencing is the intended effect. You will have to ask them.

I still cannot understand NOAM, is he advocating Anarchy, Libertarianism or complete control of socialism.

That is what I find freaky about him, almost like he is another form of controlled opposition.

I have never seen him advocating private or individual rights.

I never got into the political while in college, now, I just see ANY system of control as a demonic system. Unless the individual has the power of rights, no system is fair, because the system can always control the individual.

Only when I wanna make sure I'm alive. Sometimes I feel half dead and so I put them on, and they get my heart pumping pretty well with that fear mongering. They love to scream and talk real fast.
