I don't think this has hit the news waves yet but Toronto was just hit by an earthquake, I believe. The trembling went on for about 15 seconds or so. I actually got out of my chair and out of my room because I thought the side of the house might collapse. There was a kind of reinforcing resonating frequency to the trembling. Everyone in the house noticed it.

Wow! Never experienced that before.

I'm in the Niagara Region, and we felt it here at my place of employment... we just felt a small rumble out here though.

Everything is dead quiet outside. No birds singing. It is eerie.

Went to the balcony to check. They are singing again.

I felt my building rock here in Cambridge Ohio. My monitor started rocking and I thought it would fall. I left the building but it lasted only seconds.

It woke me up. I thought someone was running on the stairs. Earthquake? Haven't felt one of them since Vancouver Island.

I had just got back from picking up some lunch... I noticed 2 military helicopters in the sky above Lake Ontario and came in to eat. Just as I sit down I feel some rumbling and notice that the lights were swaying a bit.

The media will probably find a way to blame the G20 protestors!

I live north of Toronto and felt an earthquake - according to our local news channel, it was felt across the eastern US and Canada, something in the region of mag. 4.0.

Source: www.cp24.com... - FYI: I just tried to access this site but it's apparently crashed.

I think the last time I was in a quake I set an Olympic record going down seven flights of stairs to get outside.

It's an attention getter. Hopefully there isn't any damage.
