The metro in Oklahoma has been closed down due to a box found with the words "BOOM" on it,

It has been found near a transformer station causing the station to Partially close.
It sounds to me like this is the dealing of some kids, Well i hope so anyway. Some kind of silly Joke,

But I have posted just in case this turns in to something a little more suspect.

More will follow if any news comes out from this.
Just awaiting a source online.

I am in oklahoma and have the local station on tv and there is nothing being said at all on any of the stations....Yet you have coverage in London?
That is ridiculous!!

Chances are it's nothing, but I will be keeping an eye for more information.

I keep trying to look for additional sources on this in addition to KOCO, but it's very hard to do a search on Oklahoma City bomb without getting all of the stuff from THE bomb there.

Keep us posted.

Thank you, OP for posting this. I'm in Tulsa and haven't had the TV on all day. ATS seems to be a better source for real news anyhow.
S & F.
Heat index of 106 F so far today, but no oil spill to bother with.

Whoah. I've had emergency vehicles streaming past my shop for the last hour or so going towards Edmond... I knew it had to be something unusual, as many of the emergency trucks didn't have many standard markings.

The robot has just done its job and found no explosives in the box,

Looks like someone was trying to cause a stir,

Ah well
I love happy endings.

Obvious, i guess no real terrorist would write "Boom" on a Bomb, Oklahoma is not Gotham City

You know it could simply just be a boom-box.
