Hello ATS, i am taking a break from conspiracies and political nonsense to delve into a subject i find to be deeply interesting (pun intended). The deep ocean is a fascinating place and i want to share with you some of it's weirder lifeforms.

Wow, those are incredible sea creatures! Thanks for posting - S&F

It does make you wonder if they those weird looking things live down there, what else could exist in our Universe?

I for 1 would not like to come face to face with some of those bad boys in a "back sea alley"

Thanks for the star and flatg, the post would be a little more impressive if the pictures were displayed automatically but eithe my ATS media account is playing up or i don't have one. I think i have one but maybe i changed the email address lol.

Either way it's really interesting the stuff scientists find down in the dark layer of the ocean.

Awesome pics. There are definitely come cool creatures living in the oceans. I thought the Pontella securifer looked kind of like a flea.

Ocean life is pretty amazing and down right scary also. Who knows what nasty things are lurking in the depths.

I like the yeti crab the most, its the only one that would not scare the crap out of me if it swam by.

Great pictures, thanks for sharing.

As far as having them embedded in your post.. you will need to save them, then upload them to your media account. Under each picture, you will see the embed code.. that is what you will need to put in your post in order to have them show up.

Sorry if I didn't do a great job of explaining.. if you need further help, please don't hesitate to ask.

Star and Flag for you!

Just so others know, i am using the cookie monster addon for firefox, the this meant i couldn't log into my ATS media centre account. I had to disable cookie monster, log into my ats media centre account, confirm the cookie and then renable cookie monster to get things to work.

I like the Hairy Angler or the Gulper Eel. Still all of these creatures are so very strange and for me it speaks volumes about our lack of knowledge regarding life. Are these the knids of creatures we can expoect under the ice layers of Europa? I think it is a little arrogant of us humans to assume where life can and cannot survive.

Here we see only a small slection of creatures but it is astonishing the number we have found, i simply chose my favorites

Still i know what you mean, the vampire one has that weird orb of liquid just dangling off of it, sort of hyponotic.
