I'm going to risk the flamers to say: I have come to consider abortion the same way I consider infant sacrifice in ancient culture. The ancients sacrificed their babies to their gods of wood and gold, hoping for a good harvest or what have you. These women sacrifice their babies to their god of money and fornication, hoping that they will still be able to afford manolos and gucci, or still catch the eye of that hot guy at the bar. Same difference, different era.

I know that every woman who sacrifices their baby thru abortion is not buying haute couture, but the motivation is the same, regardless of social class. It's always about making life easier and more comfortable for themselves.

Your word "sacrifices their baby" underlines this "ok" culture.
Epidemic of sacrifice.yet bleed for soldier.

It's true, we cry for our soldiers (as we should) but go about our own business while in offices all over babies are being sacrificed on a daily basis. Pretty sad that we have become so hardened.

So it is a parasite up until the moment it is born? I suppose that means that it had better be ready to run to the nearest Starbucks for latte and a scone, because it no longer needs it's mother to exist! Get real, there is no difference at all between an undelivered baby in the birth canal and a baby that is two minutes old. The only difference is that the law says that it is okay to murder the baby still attached to an umbilical cord.

Interesting concept the sacrafice thing.
I partially agree with you but think it's also laziness.
For some reason, it seems people would rather have a surgical proceedure than use birth control,
yes there will be accidents but How many abortions do Americans have a year?
I also think that if people had to pay for the procedure themselves there would be fewer abortions.

Oh, I believe a fetus becomes a baby as soon an it is conceived and has brainwaves;
one is decalred dead when there are no brain waves
so life begins at brainwaves.
Pro choice people will never accept that,
there would be way too many guilt feelings going on.

Yeah, if some of them who received them free were made to fork over cash, I'm sure we'd see a difference in the abortion rate. But probably not much. It all boils down to their own selfishness and need to feel free of responsibility for their actions. Elective abortions, that is.

I'm offering a slant on the" kill your fetus feel good theory".
All the world is raising children in different cultures. I would love to get into all the politico and social consequences this raising entails, but writing is not my mood.
