In a remarkably addlepated story about the Confederacy, Roland Martin of CNN tells us Confederate soldiers defending their homes against invasion by the North were no different than Osama bin Laden and the supposed 9/11 hijackers.

“Even if you’re a relative of one of the 9/11 hijackers, that man was an out-and-out terrorist, and nothing you can say will change that. And if your great-great-great-granddaddy was a Confederate who stood up for Southern ideals, he too was a terrorist,” writes Martin. “They are the same” as Muslim terrorists.

CNN stands for Criminal News Network.

The south had a legitimate reason to revolt. It was not over slavery. It was over hard taxes and non stop harassment by the "North". It was only sorta because of slavery. Not every person in the south has slaves mind you. They fallowed the Constitution and now they are being demonized. nice job CNN

This thread covers a different article. It is from a totally different prospective. The news agency which put this news article out put it out challenging it. This article challenges the claims that they were terrorists.
