He was already trying to swallow the baggie before his alleged "resisting arrest." Before it! That "resisting" he was doing wasn't resisting, it was CHOKING TO DEATH. He got up and ran around in a panic, not as an attempt to flee, it couldn't be more obvious to anyone who'd been paying attention at the time. Don't we pay them to pay attention? To serve and protect us? They even have a mandate to protect criminals' lives where possible. Regardless of whether or not weed is illegal, this crap should never happen. Wait just a minute. Are you telling me that when a suspect swallows a bag, that they should taze him?

1) Why swallow a bag in the first place? i realize that he may have panicked, but still.

2) Police are becoming lazier and lazier. He was choking, their idiocracy prevented them from realizing that, and so they think he's trying to hurt them. so they use a taser, but its too late and THEN they realize "oh, look, he's choking." three cops, one skinny guy, wonder who'd win? but they have a conveniently placed taser so guess what happens!!!! it is still my opinion that you only become a cop if you want to carry around a gun.

3) the only reasons that Mary Jane (lol) is illegal is because it is a fast growing renewable source of fiber, so i threatened trees in paper manufacturing. and also because of the same reason moonshine is. it can be grown by any average joe, so it would be hard to put a tax on it.

4) it's tragic this happened but don't be too harsh on OzWeatherman. its his opinion, he's free to express it.

We are only seeing part of what happened. When he is on the ground, the police are not looking into the mouth, although he may well have been choking at that stage, he might even have been saying, or trying to say that he was choking. After that he got up and was tased, then came his indication that he was choking, and the response was pretty immediate I have to say. The reason for the tase at that stage, was not needed.

Those three Officers are ALL involved in the Death of Mr Dustin Michaels!

Firstly @1:20sec one Officer is holding Mr Dustin Michaels by the his neck clothing while he is CHOKING than We see Officer #2 is aiming to administer 40,000 volts to his chest while he is Choking! now Officer #2 is pushing his Taser against Mr Dustin Michaels c-6 c-7 vertebrae (spine)! WHY?(asshole)
Mr Dustin Michaels was Not a Threat to Anyone!!

The Officer who put his arms around Mr Dustin Michaels's chest Ensured his Death! by forcing the object further down his Airway!
