Mouse gets Human liver

A mouse has been given an almost completely human liver so that it is susceptible to human liver infections, including Hepatitis B and C, and responds to human drugs, opening a door to new study methods and treatments for debilitating human liver diseases, researchers say.

"Here's a human liver, for you! By the way we're now going to give you human liver diseases and do tests on you and stuff"

Well I suppose something has to be used to test treatments, but rats are eventually going to be so screwed up...

Oh well, hopefully we can find some cures for Hepatitis now.

They won't be doing any tests on that mouse.

You see, he'll start drinking beer, become obese, develop diabetes, loose most of his teeth and move into a mouse trailer. He'll then have 6 - 10 children to his mousewife.

He'll then become an abusive mouseband and die of liver failure.

That must be one huge mouse!
