Those were cool eyeballs. I made them go cross-eyed.

But on a more serious note, this country must be extremely paranoid to be monitoring every single thing we do on the 'Net. But hey, 200 million FBI comp monitors is fine with me, s'long as they can... well, s'long as they can get 2/3 of the US's population to monitor their Internet activity.

Personally, i don't see them pulling this off. Between 1/2 and 2/3 of the population has the Internet, and that's millions more people than the FBI has.

Monitoring All Internet activity is simply not possible.

While the technology exists, the costs associated with the sheer scale of such a project (hardware, bandwidth, people) is outrageously prohibitive.

Not gonna happen.

Echelon, anyone?

This really sucks. We live in a police nation that only gives us the illusion of privacy and security.

Hey guys, hate to say it, but this was just posted as a joke... the link just goes to a page with eyeballs that follow your pointer... but it did illustrate that we are rapidly loosing our freedoms left and right...
