Should there be compensation for 'child porn victims'?

I came across this article asking 'Should there be compensation for child porn victims'. Just to be 100% clear these 'victims' are the ones being abused in the images/videos online. And the 'compensation' would come from whomever was caught viewing these pictures/videos.

So I am having a poll on ATS, 'Should there be compenstation for child porn victims by the ones caught viewing their abuse?'

My answer is yes and around a $50,000 compensation seems adequate. What do you all think?

Well as far as I am concerned Life In Prison Without Parole is too good for these scumbags.

So it's hard for them to pay through the nose when they are in Jail being gang raped by inmates who have children to teach these inhuman beasts a lesson.

I say "Yes", there should be compensations, there´s a high probability that those kids are marked for life. I should also say "Yes" to personally beating to death the bastards who filmed that.

$50.000 doesn't pay for a loss of innocence, nor for a lifetime of therapy. It doesn't pay for damaged relationships you'll probably have in the future. I don't think you can put a price tag on that.

How do you put a value on compensation?

What is the price of therapy? The price of self-loathing and despair? The price of victimhood?

And as sad as it sounds, I can see people willingly abusing their children this way so that they can somehow reap the profits of said compensation.

You're right it doesn't, but unfortunately that is as good as it gets for compensation. Well they should also be garunteed free therapy for life too, I guess that is as good as it gets though for the ones already abused.

I could only imagine this type of abuse will sky rocket now that alot of people are in deep poverty. I'm not saying everyone who is poor or in rough times would do this to their children, I'm just saying alot more freaks will because of the promise of money. FREAKS

Not only should they get compensation from those viewing the images but they should also get to choose whether their actual abusers are physically castrated or put to death.

I'm pretty sure that would stop them from going on to becoming abusers themselves, which statistically they are likely to do.
