There is one very LARGE and important distinction between these two men that you are overlooking - one is, for lack of a better term, a "Shock Jock" - paid to be controversial so that his ratings will continue to be strong - the other man is the Chief of Staff for the White House, and not just any White House - the politically correct Obama White House...so the bar is quite a bit higher as re: Mr. Emmanuel's behavior vs. Mr. Limbaugh's. You EXPECT Limbaugh to be insensitive, because he is paid by a Private Company to be just that. Mr. Emmanuel is being paid by the American Public - he is in a position of extreme responsibility and you EXPECT him to be more aware of the public's sensabilities.
Now having said that - I personally don't find this all that offensive - from either man - I personally think that Mrs. Palin could be making a LOT more political hay out of the NUMEROUS other items that this White House is on the wrong side of - like the BS that is Anthropomorphic Global Warming, or Iran, or any one of 100 other items.

Palin actually ran a town government. Palin actually governed at rather large State. Palin doesn't use a teleprompter in order to give a message. Obama has never held any executive position prior to the one he has now and he's not doing a good job with that.
