Looks like Planned Parenthood just can't wait for the Health Care bill to pass. They're gearing up their abotrion facilties to take on the flood of new customers they forsee if the Health Care bill manages to pass. Luckily, it's beginning to look like that might not happen, though the Dems haven't givin up hope yet.

The New American

On January 18, Martin Luther King Day, pro-life demonstrators prayed silently for five hours around the perimeter of Houston’s newest Planned Parenthood abortion facility, which, when it opens for business later this year, will be the largest abortion facility in the Western World. Only China, with its mandatory “one-child-per-family” policy, has larger and more effectual abortion facilities.

The six-story former bank building (described by some pro-life groups as a “cash register”-shaped structure) is located about two miles southeast of Houston’s downtown skyscrapers, near two large universities, and in the midst of several neighborhoods which are either predominantly Hispanic or predominantly black.

Although supporters of the legal right to abortion (who would prefer to talk about “reproductive rights” in order to conflate abortion with the right to reproduce) claim that they want abortions to be “safe, legal, and rare,” in recent years, Planned Parenthood, the largest U.S. abortion provider, has been significantly increasing its capacity by opening very large abortion facilities at several new locations throughout the nation. Indeed, the business of providing abortions must be a highly profitable, “growth” industry (see "A New Pro-life Documentary: 'Blood Money'"). Furthermore, if abortion coverage becomes part of the pending federal healthcare bill and the bill passes . . . the yearly rate of abortions can only go up.

Aweful convenient how these huge new faciltites always seem to go up near minority neighborhoods huh? It's all just a scheme to make money from the most vulnerable in society.

"As I traveled around the country last September doing all these interviews with various pro-life leaders and women who had had abortions, the money part just kept coming up." Kyle lamented, "People are making millions upon millions of dollars off the murdering of innocent babies."

In another interview with Catholic News Agency, Kyle explained that the central message of Blood Money is "abortion destroys lives" of unborn children as well as the women who have abortions and their families. He said the industry masks its monetary motives behind a ruse of helping women. He hopes the film will expose abortionists' true incentives.

Holy transparency...it's ur right to throw this out there, but are you prepared to defend/explain your stance..?

You don't get to take up bandwidth just because you have an agenda...go start your own god damn forum.

Can we contribute to a lottery or some other give away for "free" passes?

This can be marketed so easily it is not even funny.

Who needs government funding when the Bushes, the Kelly's, the Perot's, Jaworski's, and Baker's are all within spittin' distance?

Maybe Southwest Airlines can offer a "friends die free" fare for weekend trips into Hobby?

It is about time.

Sure I am:

How Planned Parenthood Duped America

At a March 1925 international birth control gathering in New York City, a speaker warned of the menace posed by the "black" and "yellow" peril. The man was not a Nazi or Klansman; he was Dr. S. Adolphus Knopf, a member of Margaret Sanger's American Birth Control League (ABCL), which along with other groups eventually became known as Planned Parenthood.

Sanger's other colleagues included avowed and sophisticated racists. One, Lothrop Stoddard, was a Harvard graduate and the author of The Rising Tide of Color against White Supremacy. Stoddard was something of a Nazi enthusiast who described the eugenic practices of the Third Reich as "scientific" and "humanitarian." And Dr. Harry Laughlin, another Sanger associate and board member for her group, spoke of purifying America's human "breeding stock" and purging America's "bad strains." These "strains" included the "shiftless, ignorant, and worthless class of antisocial whites of the South."

Not to be outdone by her followers, Margaret Sanger spoke of sterilizing those she designated as "unfit," a plan she said would be the "salvation of American civilization.: And she also spike of those who were "irresponsible and reckless," among whom she included those " whose religious scruples prevent their exercising control over their numbers." She further contended that "there is no doubt in the minds of all thinking people that the procreation of this group should be stopped." That many Americans of African origin constituted a segment of Sanger considered "unfit" cannot be easily refuted.

There's plenty of resources out there to back up my stance.

What I or anyone else does is none of your business. Freedom is freedom is freedom and when you start taking away some, you might as well just cuff yourself to the nearest govt employee. I am not really pro or anti abortion for one reason. It isnt my choice. It isnt your choice. The doctors are just providing a service that is obviously in demand or there wouldnt be a debate. My ex had one a few years ago and while I am ever sad over it, I still have no stance on it one way or another. Well, I guess my stance is that you or me or anyone has no reason to deny something from someone else. There are much bigger issues out there to deal with.

When we went to the office, there were people outside yelling horrible things at my ex. I was pretty pissed, but being the person I am I went down and chatted with the people when she was in the procedure. I found them to be some of the most ignorant and idiotic people I have ever spoken to and that is the honest truth. I have met so many dumb people in my life, but those guys took the cake and the whole damn bakery. Why push and fight for something that doesnt even concern you? These people were sitting out there in the snow/sleet ALL DAY just to yell horrible things at people over something that didnt even have ANYTHING to do with them directly or indirectly. A fetus is not a person until it takes its first breath to me. I mean, dig in your mind a second and tell me the last thought or memory you had as a fetus.

I do not regret my decision, and neither does my ex I am sure. We had a horrible falling out and if we were together today that child would grow up similar to the way I did and I did not want that. I was also not willing to just bring a child into this world just to turn them over to the horrors of child services or foster whatever. Been there, seen that, no thanks. While it may not be justifiable to some, it was to me for sure. Best of all available options to us. Also, I should mention that we were using protection. I am not foolish, just unlucky.

The problem with a topic such as this is the inflammatory nature of it and the firm stance posters will have on it. Everybody is entitled to their opinion but my personal thoughts are that it is wrong on so many levels. The way of the world in this modern age centers around the self, where there is no accountability for ones actions and abortions are seen by a large percentage as an easy way out of an inconvenience.

There a many, many cases which are tragic to the highest degree where women and children have been left pregnant at the hands of rape, sometimes by family members. A crime of the very worst order and so I see that their are cases were just could be seen to be justified. The majority of unwanted pregnancies are unfortunately are down to carelessness and drunkness especially in the UK and whilst I do not see the joy in bringing an unwanted child in the world, it is a sign of the times that too many living debauched lives, uncaring of the consequences.

The benefits for goverments an promoting abortions is a long term saving in finances when it come to benefits, etc and this 'easy option' (rather than keeping their legs closed) with a govermental seal of approval will see the cash register jiggling in many of the underclass areas of the US in the same way as they do in the UK.

Some idiots presume to know how others should live their lives.

Sane people know it's hard enough to sort out what's right and what's wrong in your own personal behaviour.

No-one enjoys having an abortion. It's unpleasant and can be heartbreaking. But there have always been women driven in desperation to procure an abortion in whatever manner they can, many losing their own lives in the process. Banning abortion means driving women to the deadly perils of backyard abortionists all over again.

Most people will agree that the worst abortions are the late-term ones. Therefore we should make early abortions cheap and easy to get so late ones are not needed except for severe medical reasons. Then, if a woman makes the decision that, in her case, and abortion is the lesser of the evils she is confronted with, at least she can have one in safety.

Anyone trying to push an agenda here should first learn the difference between a fetus and a baby.

First off, my sympathy and support for those who have faced the choice, made the choice, and hurt for the choice. Only those who have been there can understand, right?

I focus on the reasons people have. They are real, painful, personal. I also focus on the position of the mother and father. Anyone with a thing to say must begin from this position if there is to be dialogue free from hatred.
It's an emotional enough issue; we must struggle for fairness, equity, and mercy for all parties involved, not just the unborn, otherwise, we really have forfeited our right to add more emotion to the volatile mix.

Unless there are acceptable alternatives, sadly, people will find it more merciful to take this option. It takes a lot of sacrifice, in some ways, to take this option. I believe a previous poster explained that quite well.
Above all, we must not hate. It solves nothing. I sorrow over and cannot understand well-meaning (?) Christians (?) who scream at these suffering people at this most difficult time, and as a Christian, I would like to apologize for these people who have found a way that is self-approved for venting the ungodly hatred in their hearts. They do not live up to the name in any way, and have no alternatives to offer, no kindness, no mercy. They help it look like a good thing to prevent a person from having to suffer the world with these people as "light." I trust and pray that God will help them to understand themselves before it is too late for them personally. God looks upon the heart of the protesters, and He knows the heart of the people at the clinic. He alone can judge them. We are only to love them, and each other, no matter who that each other is. Even those who hurt us. There is no excuse for this at all in the Christian religion. Honest Christians know this, and pray that God will help them to love at all times, no matter how many times they mess up. And He does. I know that He does, because He taught me. I only thought I knew what love was, but nothing compares to God's patience, forgiveness, forgetfulness of the sins of the ones who accept His convenant, and above all, the abundance of His faithfulness and kindess to all who ask Him.
(Tears of gratefulness)

In our city, I'm relieved to say, those Christians who care about the unborn and the parents, who ARE breathing, and who are without question, people, pray quietly near a clinic if they feel moved by the fact of abortion. Judgement is the last thing on their minds.
By offering respect, first, and kindness, based on love, real love, they have been available to those who wished to reconsider, or who needed someone to tell them it's okay to try, it's okay to reconsider. If the person needs financial support, and wants to try, support is given. America is very rich. Stuff goes a very long way when people really care, and work together or alone, with concern for their fellow man. Church is the right place with the right resources, and functions as God intended when these are the people and this is the goal, to ease the pain, to refuse to judge while making themselves available to those who want them, or anyone who comes to them. No one shouts or does anything like that. Believe that. These people do exist. They are Christians. So not all are bad and corrupted. Some precious ones have graduated into selfless giving wherever God tells them, or wherever they see a need.

Only those who are so moved approach these quiet, dignified, loving Christians, and they receive whatever it is that they are seeking. These people find one another through the beauty of holy love. That also happens, and should matter.

I find this same Holy Spirit of love in the respectful, concerned tone of the OP. One hopes that will be appreciated for what it is, because to some, it is all.

I respect the right to choose. No one should interfere with such a personal choice unless it's their own personal business. At the same time, how can one respect a fetus and ignore the dignity and humanity of the parents? I am pro-human, all the humans, not just the unborn, not just the beautiful, not just the ones who do what I do, or see things the way I do. Love for the unborn by definition reaches the parents as well. I feel this makes the difference in the whole abortion issue. Mercy, understanding, kindness, these are the things that avail much, whatever the person's choice. If dollars are what a person needs to be able to have the child, and wants to, they should not be judged either. If people want to change their minds, this right should be offered. Many Christians go to abortion clinics for that reason, not to hurt people. I wish we were better at policing those who go in our name, but it is a free country. All deserve a chance to be heard, and I truly hope the exercise of democracy is not confused with genuine love. It's not hard to tell the difference, after all! Shouting and hate vs. love and non-aggressive presence.

Finally, surely it's incontrovertible to the zealous that people who choose abortion, just like those who don't, and all other people as well, deserve prayer very much, prayer offered in mercy, empathy, and kindness, remembering that, according to our belief and faith, we all fall short of the glory of God.

It doesn't take a Christian to be kind, though. We all can, and should, in this most delicate area.

I may live in a "special" community, but most of the people I know who are staunch advocates of "a woman's right to control her body," are among the most rabid critics, in different circumstances, of Nadya Suleman and of Jon or Kate Gosselin.

I find this utterly hypocritical.

Many good, well articulated points. What the violent pro-lifers must understand is that they do not act in the name of God. When they take a life (or even hate) they stand alone, outside the teachings of the Bible. We all walk our own path in life in the decisions we make are our own. Those who damn themselves will have to stand alone when the times comes and that includes the haters and the clinic bombers.

I thought about going down the “life begins at conception” road but then, I remembered who my audience was and decided to stick with the conspiracy angle.

Planned parenthood is a racist organization which seeks to eliminate the “dark skinned” element in society through birth control, sterilization and abortion. The abortion arm of the organization is their big money maker. In order to keep the money flowing in, they promote promiscuity in the youth. Promiscuous youth = more pregnancies, thus more abortions and bucket loads of cash for Planned Parenthood.

But here's what is sinister. In order to make lots and lots of money, Planned Parenthood, just like any other "service provider," needs lots and lots of customers, and the best way to get those customers is to promote the very behaviors which create them. Specifically, to manipulate kids - under the guise of so-called "comprehensive sex education" - to engage in promiscuous, casual sex as soon and as often as possible. It's simple supply and demand. Planned Parenthood encourages the behaviors which create the demand and then dutifully offers its deadly supply.

To that end, Planned Parenthood has created a new promotional Web site that targets youth. It's called "Take Care Down There" (www.takecaredownthere.org). It features short, near pornographic "public service" video vignettes which, among other things, promote casual sex, immodesty, homosexuality and even group sex.

For example, in perfect keeping with its demonstrably racist, loosey-goosey sexual tradition, one of the Planned Parenthood videos depicts what appears to be a teenage African-American male relegated to performing oral sex - in public - on a white teenage male. Another white male (a creepy adult authority figure who seems just a little too interested) walks up and begins giving instructions. The white teenager then says, "I didn't even spew."

Source

For those who doubt the racist motives of Planned Parenthood:

Race and abortion politics will merge Thursday when a group of African-American pastors, led by the niece of Martin Luther King Jr., march on the Democratic and Republican Party headquarters to demand that candidates refuse donations from Planned Parenthood. The reason: They believe that Planned Parenthood allows racist donors to designate that their money go to fund abortions of blacks. Planned Parenthood has outlined a $10 million campaign to fund candidates who support abortion. But the ministers say they have evidence in videos that African-American babies are being targeted. The group tells Washington Whispers that it is circulating two YouTube videos in which a racist donor wins agreement from Planned Parenthood workers to have his donation designated for blacks. A similar protest took place in front of Planned Parenthood in Washington in April.

Source

Here’s a youtube video showing this practice:

Even leftwing activist Al Sharpton acknowledges Planned Parenthood’s racist leanings:

All of the speakers mentioned the prevalence of Planned Parenthood’s in low-income, African-American neighborhoods and Rev. Clinard Childress call for a boycott of the clinics by black leaders -- specifically Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, the Urban League and the NAACP -- until the racist allegations are resolved, at least by the firing of those employees who willingly accepted the racist donations.

“Black America must wake up and stand up to this racist organization that purposefully plants abortion facilities firmly in black and minority neighborhoods and urban communities -- sometimes, right next door to schools,” said Day Gardner, President of the National Black Pro-Life Union (NBPLU), pointing out a charter school directly connected to that particular clinic.

The NBPLU sent a letter to Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. Barack Obama yesterday, asking that he condemn PP’s “racist business practices.” The letter also documents numerous ongoing criminal investigations around the country in PP clinics who failed to report child sexual abuse or falsified records. It was signed by 31 black leaders and pastors, all who call on black America in general to address the issue with more weight.

See folks, it’s all about killing the unborn for money to support racism.

The connection is the origins of the feminist movement. A key founder was Margaret Sanger, supporter of eugenics, and birther of Planned Parenthood. Even Supreme Court Justice Ginsberg spoke in the last two yrs or so of her perceptions the eugenics underpinnings of the pro-abortion movement aimed at the poor.

Abortion is a Choice.....
We have so many unwanted, uncared for children in and out of the system already.
I have a choice to get one if I wish, You have a choice not to, EASY.... Leave the other side alone.
Who is anyone to dictate to another on this issue, If a woman was raped who is anyone to tell her she has keep it or put the child into already over burdened system of Children waiting to be adopted here in the states and a faulty overburdened foster care system.
Personally I would love to see more people get a real life education by maybe becoming a Foster Parent, volunteer at an Orphanage.
While I also feel fo the orphanes in other countries, we as a nation she should put our own "unwanted, "unfamlied" children first.

Still think Planned Parenthood's racism is a thing of the past?

Many in the black community don't. They see Planned parenthood's goal as being the slow genocide of their race.

Why is the issue of abortion so important to black American leaders? Black communities are being devastated by abortion which is tantamount to black genocide. 35% of abortions in the United States are performed on African-American women, while they represent only 12% of our nation’s female population. According to the 2000 Census, 14 million (17 million as of 2007) African-American children have been killed through abortion. This means that more African-American babies have been killed by abortion during the past 30 years than the total number of African-American deaths from all other causes combined, including AIDS, heart disease, cancer, violent crimes and accidents. This is a crisis in black America that Obama does not care about. [all emphasis in the original] NBRA

The video that is addressed can be found here. It is about 9 minutes long and very informative.

Planned Parenthood started and continues with a goal of eradicating the black race and the Democratic Party has always been more than happy to help out. The Democrats are the ones with the history of racism, slavery, Jim Crow, and lynchings as well as formation of their strong arm, the KKK. Democrats have long held disdain for blacks and only use them in order to gain votes.

With the Hispanic vote being courted so heavily and the numbers of them increasing, blacks will soon be replaced by Hispanics as the favorite disadvantaged group in America but only as long as Hispanics vote without question, for Democrats and while blacks are being eradicated through abortion.

Source

They even expect the 21st century to be the century of black genocide.

And the rabbit hole gets deeper.

It seems Planned Parenthood has also profited from fetal tissue harvesting. Congress made this illegal in the NIH Revitalization Act passed in 1993. That act makes it unlawful "to knowingly acquire, receive, or otherwise transfer any human fetal tissue for valuable consideration if the transfer affects interstate commerce."

Planned Parenthood found a loophole; the act exempts "reasonable payments associated with the transportation, implantation, processing, preservation quality control, or storage of human fetal tissue." Planned Parenthood, and the fetal parts suppliers who contract with it, have seized on that language as a way of collecting money.

As part of his report, Wallace sought reactions from both pro-life and "pro-choice" perspectives. Among those he spoke to was Planned Parenthood President Gloria Feldt. Feldt gave what appeared to be a strong condemnation of the whole sordid affair. Presented with ABC's findings, Feldt told Wallace

It seems inappropriate. Totally inappropriate. Where there is wrongdoing, it should be prosecuted. People who are doing that kind of thing should be should be brought to justice.

However, those who read Feldt's statements as a repudiation of the practice of dissecting aborted babies and using their body parts for research are mistaken. Not only does Planned Parenthood support the harvesting of baby parts for research, but it actually also has at least one clinic that helped supply aborted babies to firms featured in Wallace's 20/20 report

There is no indication that Anatomic Gift Foundation or Opening Lines paid Planned Parenthood for the aborted babies or fetal parts it collected. However, Planned Parenthood does admit that it "rented office and storage space" at its Overland Park, Kansas, clinic to the Anatomic Gift Foundation and then later "rented space" to Opening Lines.

Such firms, apparently, circumvent the law, not by charging researchers for the actual aborted babies' organs, but by charging fees for collecting, processing, or shipping the fetal body parts. Planned Parenthood, in turn, collects money by "renting" office and storage space to the firms collecting and dissecting the babies aborted at the clinic (and presumably saves money related to the disposal of the corpses).

Thus, while no one actually "buys" or "sells" the aborted babies or their organs, everyone is able to collect money- - 1except for the mother who gives up her aborted baby for "research."

It seem today’s liberals have resurrected the ages old religion of the Carthage, Ba’al worshop. The similarities are striking:

Ritualistic Baal worship, in sum, looked a little like this: Adults would gather around the altar of Baal. Infants would then be burned alive as a sacrificial offering to the deity. Amid horrific screams and the stench of charred human flesh, congregants – men and women alike – would engage in bisexual orgies. The ritual of convenience was intended to produce economic prosperity by prompting Baal to bring rain for the fertility of "mother earth."

The natural consequences of such behavior – pregnancy and childbirth – and the associated financial burdens of "unplanned parenthood" were easily offset. One could either choose to engage in homosexual conduct or – with child sacrifice available on demand – could simply take part in another fertility ceremony to "terminate" the unwanted child.

Modern liberalism deviates little from its ancient predecessor. While its macabre rituals have been sanitized with flowery and euphemistic terms of art, its core tenets and practices remain eerily similar. The worship of "fertility" has been replaced with worship of "reproductive freedom" or "choice." Child sacrifice via burnt offering has been updated, ever so slightly, to become child sacrifice by way of abortion. The ritualistic promotion, practice and celebration of both heterosexual and homosexual immorality and promiscuity have been carefully whitewashed – yet wholeheartedly embraced – by the cults of radical feminism, militant "gay rights" and "comprehensive sex education." And, the pantheistic worship of "mother earth" has been substituted – in name only – for radical environmentalism.

So to sum it all up: Planned Parenthood continues along the racist agenda laid out by its founders. Over the past 30 years, more blacks are killed in the womb than die from all other causes combined. Many in the black community are beginning to wake up to the silent genocide being committed against their people. They are coming to realize that Planned Parenthood is a weapon of the racist left, directed against their continued existence. Planned Parenthood has even expanded their operations to Africa where they have been accused of distributing low grade condoms with high failure rates, supposedly to prevent the transmission of aids.

They promote promiscuity in the youth by distributing free condoms and through their almost pornographic advice pages on the web. Promiscuous youth create unwanted pregnancies and Planned Parenthood is conveniently in place in low rent and minority neighborhoods to take their money. They can then harvest the organs and stem cells of the aborted fetuses for a handy profit, a profit the mother of the aborted child will never see. It’s all about the blood money to support their racist agenda.

So there you have it: those who make excuses for abortion are providing support to racists bent on the genocide of blacks and minorities around the world. (OK, I may have gone a little overboard with my harsh assessment but, then again, maybe not…)
