New Original Music by ATS Member (no, not Robbie Williams, sorry)

Hey Everyone,

I noticed we have several musicians on the forum (always the smart ones ) who have uploaded some of their tracks, so I thought I'd share one of my first attempts with you guys and see what you think.

It's all been produced by myself at home, the live parts (vocal & guitar) were recored on a really, really bad cheap mic so there's a bit of static, and I did it all in one take very quickly so I'll probably re-record those parts when I have the time.

I'm not sure if I uploaded it correctly, the instructions I followed didn't make it very clear compared to where I'm used to uploading, but hey this is ATS/BTS forums, not exactly the music sharing network

Although the track name is "Wake Up", it's probably not what you're thinking, and I must warn you it's a pretty depressing piece, but try to enjoy nonetheless...

That was great, Pr0t0! Reminded me of Radiohead before Thom York decided it would be a good idea to lock the rest of the band out of the studio. Good stuff!

I turned of Extreme Noise Terror to listen to that!!!

Just kidding, it sounded alright but its not really my type of music. A little to mellow in my opinion. But I am glad to hear it sounds nothing like Robbie Williams

If it's ment to be depressing, it's a reflection of part of being human.

Think it's great. The piano is awesome. The guitar is fading away to much for my taste, but what i'm capable of hearing, it's great.
The voice is really something. As same style as Rob Thomas. That's just my opinion. Great song.Thanks !

Thank God, you didn't mind that comparison. Of course you sound like you. But to compare with RT voice, is not a bad thing. and thanks for share another link Actually you look more like RW than RT. Take that as a compliment

Cool thread. I've been looking for some fellow ATS music makers.

From one musician to another, I really enjoyed that. It was very well put together, but at the beginning I was having trouble hearing the lyrics.

This song might make me miss work tomorrow. It seems lately that my day is ruined right when the alarm clock goes off and takes me away from my dreams and into the bleak monotony of work. On the other hand, the song is so depressing it could become a calalyst for listerners to follow their dreams and escape the 9 to 5.
