The title of your thread says ILLEGAL ALIEN STATUS ...

The Article mentions Obama is an Illegal Alien ..

Which is stupid , because even if he was born in Kenya .. he would still be an American citizen because of the things i said on the previous post ..

Many of you don't understand that a citizen can file a lawsuit over anything.
But that doesn't mean that the suit has any merit, or that the Court has any jurisdiction over whatever the dispute is. Having worked in a court I've seen many insane suits filed and tossed right out of court. Many of the things tossed were along the lines of amateur legal argument similar to many on ATS.
The courts are not for simply filing a gripe then you show up and rant about whatever. complaints must be based on law, real law, not your interpretation of The Constitution or immigration law!
That the way it works, educate yourselves!

First, I didn't pen the title, I COPIED it from an article, which you probably didn't even look at.

Second, while we are throwing clandestine OPINIONS out there, here's mine--

The election of Obama as US President reminds me of a joke I heard years ago: A guy died and went to hell. He was given a choice; first he was shown a room where there were furnaces of molten fire, everyone screaming for water. He didn't like that one. Then he was shown a room where everyone was standing knee deep in crap. He thought well, it doesn't smell too good but it's better than the first room, so he went in . After 10 minutes someone yelled "Breaks over, back on your heads."

A response to birthers here I'm from Portugal and a few days ago I heard the reporter finish his news about Obama saying this:
*translated* (it started like this) Obama's white house...(finished like this) news about Kenyan president of America.

I looked at the tv with a confused stare.

Haha, you are calling Mexicans "wets" -- and me a bigot.

Watch those kneejerk reactions, and practice what you preach, ya know, THINK before you post.

I love this forum. Simply because when it comes to every topic you have the same three clowns coming in and throwing their weight around pretty much against everyting. I won't mention any user names but it is become quite clear of their agenda.

Anywho, in terms of the Obama birther movement, the fact that anyone just takes the word for it is rediculous. The fact that people are bashing the courts for taking a trial this far is rediculous as well. What is the court system for if not to prove the guilt or innocence of a said situation or individual?

The case at hand - Obama's eligability as POTUS. If the anti-birthers are so damn sure that Obama is eligable, and that the said case would be pointless - then why are they constantly bashing it whenever it comes close. Just let it friggin happen.

The case happens and it will shut everyone on both sides up. Obama will be forced to reveal his college transcripts and long form birth certificate and then, and only then, will people be able to say "HAHA I was right the whole time." But which side is right?

We don't know yet. Orly Taitz doesn't know, I don't know, nobody in here knows. The only thing we know is what we were told by government officials, the same officials that are proven guilty of lying to the American public on a daily basis. If this is anybody's idea of cold hard fact then please, deny ignorance.

This matter should have been settled a long time ago by the release of the said documents to shut everybody up.

And before anybody start claiming me to be a birther, can it. I'm a truther. I'm an evidencER. I'm an open mindedER. I'm not going to believe 100% in ANYTHING unless it is proven to me without a shadow of a doubt.

Proves stupidity is an equal opportunity label.

In Brazil they say Portuguese people are dumb. Is that true?

Ziggy

You are so right about the stupidity being spread around.

You want a revolution to be peaceful .. no guns .. no civil wars ...possibly socialist (your own words from another thread).

Proof that the koolaid is still working.

I don't know in general maybe. Particular cases no.
One can say portuguese people are dumb referring to the way of life and not knowledge you learn in school vice versa.
But Brazilian people in general maybe, aren't that good...crimes,poverty,gangs all that comes from a bad society and the lack of good organization in country government. But that can be me just stereotyping as I'm not a good source of information, I don't have any study supporting me or papers that are legit.
I'm not a birther, but who knows, we can't say we are sure because we don't have the exact information.

I have to have an open mind about both topics because neither are supported by legit information, and thats called intelligence.

Here is what you refuse to accept.
THERE IS NO CASE TO BE CONSIDERED!
Obama has been elected, certified by the Electoral College, sworn in as The President.
All in accordance with The Constitution. Over, done with!
The only way to remove him would be by impeachment. Period.
Save your sputtering, "but...but", "what about" so called arguments.
Those are the facts! Neither the courts or The President are obligated in any way to do anything simply because you want them to!
If they were, the would be occupied full time by every nutcase in America's "theories". gripes and dislikes!

I have no clue why you accuse me of using it as an insult, unless you consider Mexicans inferior in some way?

The smeller's the feller.

Lest We Forget...

As is hopefully apparent, this would be a great time to stay focused on the topic and a really bad time to troll the thread or insult other members.

Yes, even in the U S Political Madness forum all the rules apply. Most members should already know that by now anyway, but for those that don't, we're here to help.

For those who don't need our help, have scrupulously avoided taking the bait and have expressed themselves pertinently and politely, thanks.

We can always use more of that.

I don't believe that President Obama is an illegal alien. His mother being an American citizen when he was born would negate that. My concern is that he may hold dual citizenship as an American and Indonesian. I have heard that when he attended school in Indonesia, his adoptive father signed him up at the school with the qualification that Barack was an Indonesian citizen. I know that this does NOT necessarily mean that he has Indonesian citizenship, but I do find it somewhat troubling. The troubling part is that dual citizenship is not allowed for anyone running for the office of POTUS. Does anyone know any particulars about this? Thanks in advance.
