The Israeli Lobby - Too Powerful!

Every appointee to the American government must endure a thorough background check by the American Jewish community.

In the case of Obama's government in particular, every criticism against Israel made by a potential government appointee has become a catalyst for debate about whether appointing "another leftist" offers proof that Obama does not truly support Israel.

A few months ago, boisterous protests by the American Jewish community helped foil the appointment of Chaz Freeman to chair the National Intelligence Council, citing his "anti-Israel leaning."

The next attempt to appoint an intelligence aide, in this case, former Republican senator Chuck Hagel, also resulted in vast criticism over his not having a pro-Israel record.

American Zionists are urging Obama to cancel Hagel's appointment because of what they call a long and problematic record of hostility toward Israel.

The president of the Zionist Organization of America, Morton A. Klein, described Hagel's nomination as such: "Any American who is concerned about Iran's drive to obtain nuclear weapons, maintaining the Israeli-U.S. relationship and supporting Israel in its legitimate fight to protect her citizens from terrorism should oppose this appointment."

Republican Jews have also protested Hagel's appointment, citing an incident in 2004 when Hagel refused to sign a letter calling on then-president George Bush to speak about Iran's nuclear program at the G8 summit that year.

I was unaware of the Charles Freeman controversy mentioned in the article above. Wikipedia states:

On February 26, 2009 the Director of National Intelligence Dennis C. Blair named Freeman as chair of the National Intelligence Council,[9] which culls intelligence from sixteen US agencies and compiles them into National Intelligence Estimates. Blair cited his "diverse background in defense, diplomacy and intelligence."[10]

News of Freeman's nomination met with criticism from a number of pro-Israel commentators of his views about Israel and Arab nations and his ties to Saudi Arabia and China,

Apparently the crusade against Freeman was instigated by Steve J. Rosen, a 23 year veteran of the AIPAC, in addition to time served at the Pentagon and with the RAND corporation. In the 1990s, Rosen's primary focus in his AIPAC duties concerned Iran - lobbying the Clinton administration to place economic sanctions on the Islamic Regime.

In 2004 Rosen was revealed to have been an asset in the Lawrence Franklin espionage scandal, having been the recipient of secret documents pertaining to US foreign policy on Iran stolen by Lawrence Franklin, a mid-level official at the Pentagon. It would seem that Rosen had then passed on the information to Mossad. This wouldn't be Franklin's first activities in Israeli-Iranian subterfuge: some time prior to the spy scandal, Franklin, along with Harold Rhode (a member of the American Enterprise Institute along with Dick Cheney, George P. Schultz, Paul Wolfowitz and Richard Perle) met in Paris with Iranian dissidents and Manucher Ghorbanifar, an arms dealer with was a key figure in the Iran-Contra scandal. The meeting was organized by Michael Ledeen, also of Iran-Contra fame, not to mention his membership in the American Enterprise Institute and possibly the renegade P2 Masonic lodge, as well as being a suspected Israeli spy. Ledeen has been outspoken against Iran for the better part of twenty years.

The story takes another surreal turn: in 2006 Congresswoman Jane Harman was caught on an NSA wiretap talking to an Israeli agent who was promising her a coveted seat on the House Intelligence Committee on the grounds that she would intervene in the Lawrence spy scandal. It would seem that the Israelis would A) have the AIPAC lobby Nancy Pelosi as B) have media mogul Haim Saban (suspected by some of being an Israeli agent) threaten to withhold Pelosi's campaign funding. This whole bizarre story has numerous branches that can begin to rip a hole through the heart of the War on Terror. Michael Ledeen is a suspected of being the authored of the forged yellowcake documents. At the very least, we have this, from the first breaking of the Franklin spy scandal:

In a later broadcast on MSNBC, former CIA officer and NBC analyst Larry Johnson reported that for months he had been aware of an investigation that had led to tonight's revelation, one that had originally focused on the source of a forged document indicating that Iraq had sought uranium from Niger, presumably for making nuclear weapons. Johnson speculated that Israel may have been behind the forgery which was used by the administration to bolster its case for invasion.

The yellowcake documents, of course, can be linked to the Valeria Plame affair (and thus to the revelations of Sibel Edmonds). Also possibly involved in the yellowcake affair is CIA agent Robert Seldon Lady, now a wanted fugitive after being implicated in the Abu Omar rendition case. Connected to both the Abu Omar affair and the yellowcake forgeries is Nicolò Pollari, former head of the SISMI and also possible member of the P2 lodge, which brings us back to Michael Ledeen. And let us not forget that Lawrence's partner in Michael Ledeen's Paris meeting, Harold Rhode is a member of Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs (JINSA), as was Dick Cheney and Richard Perle.

The Israeli lobby is too powerful in D.C and threatens the position of any/ every US President who don't support their zionist decision. Every year millions of US citizens tax payers money goes to Israel to further it's genocidal policies.

Infact, if you remember when Obama came in office he asked Israeli govt. to immediately stop all illegal settlements. Immediately after that a fake Kenyan certificate issue arose which was provided by O'rly Taitz (who ran away to Israel immediately after submitting the certificate to US Federal court). After that the Tea party protest which was led by a pro-Israel lobby group against Obama. Similar other propaganda techniques have bee used against current President Obama by Israeli lobby to weaken the US President under the guise of American citizen interest.

Unless the whole Israeli lobby is dismantled and thrown out of US Politics , United States has no choice but will be held to ransom.

I'm sure you've both heard of the Egyptian Gaza strip wall.

Egypt has begun constructing a huge metal wall along its border with the Gaza Strip as it attempts to cut smuggling tunnels, the BBC has learned.

When it is finished the wall will be 10-11km (6-7 miles) long and will extend 18 metres below the surface.

The Egyptians are being helped by American army engineers, who the BBC understands have designed the wall.

The plan has been shrouded in secrecy, with no comment or confirmation from the Egyptian government.

The wall will take 18 months to complete.

For weeks local farmers have noticed more activity at the border where trees were being cut down, but very few of them were aware that a barrier was being built.

'Impenetrable'

That is because the barrier, made of super-strength steel, has been hidden deep underground.

The BBC has been told that it was manufactured in the US, that it fits together in similar fashion to a jigsaw, and that it has been tested to ensure it is bomb proof.

The weapons required for the Israeli assault were decided upon in June 2008, and the transfer of 1,000 bunker-buster GPS-guided Small Diameter Guided Bomb Units 39 (GBU-39) were approved by Congress in September. Researchers in Gaza found several weapon fragments after the attacks. One came from a 500lb (227kg) Mark-82 fin guided bomb, which had markings indicating parts were made by the US company Raytheon. They also found fragments of US-made white phosphorus artillery shells, marked M825 A1.

The World Bank is complicit in the funding of the Israel-Palestine wall, while an Israeli organization called the Coalition of Women for Peace has launched a website called Who Profits? Exposing the Israeli Occupation Industry, dedicated to exposing the corporations who are directly involved in profiting from the occupation. A glance around their website exposes that while the majority of the corporations are Israeli in origin, some are US based companies.

In addition to dealing with Iran, Lawrence Franklin also specialized in Israel-Palestine issues.

And yet people wonder why, with all the peace talks over the years, the situation always deteriorates into violence.

No lobby is feared more or catered to by politicians than the Israeli lobby. If a politician does not play ball with the Israeli Lobby, he will not get elected, or re-elected, and he will either be smeared or ignored by the Israeli/ Jewish owned major media.

All Israeli lobbies and organizations are interconnected and there are hundreds upon hundreds of them. The leaders of the numerous lobby groups are actually a close knit group. And this inter-connectedness extends to people who run the Federal Reserve Bank, US Homeland Security, and the US State Department.

You will find an interesting similarity most of the top executives of these "Organsatios" are related to Israel directly or indirectly (religion).

I can see a definitive pattern here. Like Ledeen, Eliot Abrams, who worked for the Reagan administration, was involved in Iran-Contra:

Elliot Abrams

He would be charged with two misdemeanors and fined $50, before being pardoned by George H.W. Bush. Abrams is also said to have had advanced knowledge of the 2002 attempted coup against Hugo Chavez.

Elliot Abrams, Richard Perle, Dick Cheney and Michael Ledeen all have one other thing in common, besides being raging neo-cons, exerting influence upon Bush administration, being tied directly or indirectly to Iran-Contra and being members of JINSA: they are all members of the Project for the New American Century. Though conspiracy sites thrive on attempts to show Israel in a negative and controlling light, anyone familiar with Washington and it's army of lobbyists is well aware of the power of the Saudi Lobby followed not to far behind by that of Turkey.

They have gone to great lengths to maintain low profiles even buying up or into news services to deflect virtual dictating of American foreign policy in the Middle East.

It's not exactly a State Secret the US and Britain were asked to invade Iraq in the early 90s at the behest of the Saudis who even offered them a base of operation.

The Saudis told Bush Sr to stop short of deposing Saddam Hussein not wishing to set a precedent of overriding Muslim state sovereignty.

They came to regret that decision and asked the US to finish off Saddam in Phase 2, 5 years ago.

Similarly the Saudis have been dictating policy on Iran, their rival Shi'ite state and the one they perceive as their biggest threat to their regional hegemony.

I can't shake the idea that the Israel lobby, no matter how powerful, isn't all it is cracked up to be, particularly where it concerns the Bush administrations past and present. Indeed, when I think of pernicious foreign lobbies with disproportionate sway over American politics, I can't see past Saudi Arabia and its royal house, led by King Abdullah.

The long and corrupt history of American-Saudi relations centers around the kingdom's vast reserves of easily extractable oil, of course. Ever since President Franklin D. Roosevelt met aboard ship in 1945 with King Ibn Saud, the special relationship with the desert kingdom has only grown stronger. The House of Saud is usually happy to sell us oil at a consistent and reasonable price and then increase production if unseemly market forces drive the world price of a barrel too high for U.S. consumers.

In exchange we arm the Saudis to the teeth and turn a blind eye to their medieval approach to crime and punishment.

Even during the Saudi-led oil embargo of 1973-74, an exceedingly hostile action against the United States supposedly justified by Washington's support of Israel in the Yom Kippur War, the Nixon administration treaded very softly. Despite the illegality of the embargo it arguably violated international law as well as a bilateral commercial agreement between the United States and Saudi Arabia the White House and the State Department could hardly have been more diplomatic toward their Bedouin friends.

Thanks for the link to your other thread and the Reagen issue, it is very informative. I will study it deeper and get back on this. To sum it up I'd say the rot of Israeli lobby runs deep in US politics fueled by their Zionist Talmud Torah driven ideological policies which is eating the entire structure of USA like a termite.

We need to vote out as many entrenched Republicans and Democrats and replace them with as many independent candidates as possible.

Voters need to seen a strong message through letters and phone calls that America has no state named Israel.

Americans need to write their representatives and the Justice Department demanding that AIPAC be investigated from the top to the bottom and the bottom to the top and to prosecute any illegal activities as espionage and apply the full penalty of the law.

If you want the thieves and extortionists, libelers and murderers from AIPAC out of our government the people need to stop tolerating and rewarding them.

Additionally all Americans should be demanding that Israel either sign the International Atomic Energy Agency nuclear non-proliferation and allow inspections of it’s facilities or risk sanctions and bombing of its illegal and undeclared and uninspected nuclear facilities if it does not comply.

If spying on us and making every attempt to subvert our government is what Israel does to friends, the world would be foolish to continually turn a blind eye to their illegal nuclear weapons programs!

We need to understand the history of palestine and the destruction of that nation and it's people.

Economically, Israel is bankrupt. Of course, this could have been predicted because Israel's economic structure is based on socialism.


Whenever a government of a state and its citizens spend more money than the value of the goods produced, economic bankruptcy will result. If it were not for aid from America, Israel's economy would have collapsed long ago. Israel is a 'welfare state' in every sense of the word — it is America's most favored welfare recipient.


While America's farmers, small businessmen and laborers are struggling to survive, the U.S. Government, dominated by Zionist Jews, are draining the pockets and purses of American taxpayers to support Israel's socialist economy and war machine.


Since the Israeli government knows, and the favored Zionists know, that the Zionist pressure in America will ensure that America will keep sending them massive amounts of money, Israel's government and its favored citizens spend money like drunken sailors. This practice leads to inflation and eventually to an economic collapse.


Comparing Israel to drunken sailors is unfair to sailors. Sailors spend their OWN money — Israel spends money it gets from America. Because Israel is a welfare state depending mainly on American aid for survival, it is on a down-hill slide. In 1982, Israel's inflation rate was 130%.


In 1983, it was 200%, and this year (1984) it is expected to exceed 400%. That means a hamburger that cost $1.00 last January will have risen to $5.00 by the end of December. History shows that no nation mired in economic problems as Israel has become, has ever avoided an economic collapse. Only with a massive increase in American financial aid can an economic collapse be averted — even then, this solution would only be temporary.


Regarding the destructive tendencies of socialism, there are circumstances that allow a country to successfully provide social programs to help its people. It is possible in a country that has sufficient financial resource and where its citizens are deeply religious and considerate toward their fellowmen.


NONE of this exists in Israel. Even in countries where conditions are ideal there lingers a danger. Since the government of the country provides for the needs of its citizens, most of these citizens have a tendency to lose incentive to work hard; and a country with a complacent citizenry is easily conquered.

This is so simple - lobbies exist because we, the people allow them to. How? We give them power through their ability to provide money to politicians. Take away their money and you destroy their power. So, how do we take away their money? Simple, we don't elect their "candidates". Most of our current politicians are simply cardboard cutouts for various interest groups who have sent their bought and paid-for politicians to go to Washington to do their bidding. STOP electing these career politicians and you will be suprised at how quickly these lobbies disintegrate.

Another faster and more thorough way to destroy the lobby would be to enact REAL campaign finance reform. In toher words, remove every private dollar from the campaign process. Allocate a predetermined amount of federal dollars to each and every candidate and legislate that each and every media outlet allocate an equal amount of pre-determined time to the political process. This would ensure and equal and fair representation of the candidates for the American people to decide.

Doesn't it seem funny to anyone that an individual would spend millions and millions - perhaps even hundreds of millions of dollars, for a job that pays $350,000 a year???????????

Now as far as the Israeli Lobby - they are a Satanic Cabal that will get ground up in the machine of reform that normal, everyday people like you and me are going to force upon the world very, very soon. It is coming and no one should doubt it.

During the 1967 War, one of the most daring acts of treachery was committed. It was the attack on an American ship, the USS Liberty, by America's so-called friend, Israel.

During Israel's treacherous attack on Egypt, the USS Liberty, an American surveillance ship, was cruising off the coast of Israel monitoring the progress of the attack.

Realizing the USS Liberty was learning and recording Israel's acts of treachery, Israeli leaders decided to 'get rid' of the evidence. Israeli planes and torpedo boats attacked Liberty with the obvious intent of sinking it. If the ship was sunk, thus destroying the evidence, Israel then could blame Egypt for the attack — and the Zionist controlled news-media in America would have given the lie as fact with the intent of turning the American people against Egypt. But, fortunately — bravery on the part of the Liberty crew kept the ship afloat. Israel failed in its act of treachery against America, its ally, but during the attack, Israel killed 34 crew members of the Liberty and wounded 171.


Israel claimed the attack on the Liberty was a case of mistaken identity. But, reports by the surviving crew and other evidence prove the attack by Israel was intentional.


Facts about the attack on the USS Liberty were conveniently omitted by the Zionist controlled American news-media. All that the Zionists told the American people was that Israel had sunk an American ship, but that it was a case of mistaken identity.


An investigation by the U.S. Government was subdued and the matter quickly forgotten. This is a good example of the tremendous influence the Zionists have over the U.S. Government.

The coverup of the whole scandalous affair by the U.S. Government could not have succeeded if the news-media had done its duty and reported the facts surrounding the attack. It is a good example of the power the Zionist controlled news-media in America to distort or withhold important news from the American people.


1973 War — The treachery on the part of Israel and the Soviets that led to the 1967 War embittered the Arab people and immediately they began arming with the intent of retaliating for this Israeli treachery and to try and take back the land that Israel had taken from them. By 1973 they were prepared.


Even though several Arab countries were preparing militarily, they were trying to peacefully work out a solution with Israel. But, Israel was assured that their Zionist brethren in America would use their power over the U.S. Government to make sure that the U.S. would support Israel. So, Israel's leaders continued to maintain a belligerent attitude.

Realizing the hopelessness of further negotiating with Israel's leaders, Egypt along with Jordan, Syria and Iraq attacked Israel — and they were winning.

With Israel facing defeat, the powerful Zionists in America pulled the strings of their power over the U.S. Government and the U.S. Government officials obeyed their Zionist masters. Massive amounts of U.S. military equipment and arms were airlifted at taxpayer's expense to Israel to bolster the retreating Israeli forces.

This U.S. aid enabled Israel to turn the tide and emerge victorious. Yes, Israel was saved, but so much U.S. military equipment was airlifted to Israel at that time that the U.S. armed forces were left in short supply and in a weakened position.


U.S. Government officials are so much under the influence of the Zionists that they had alerted the 82nd Airborne Division stationed at Ft. Bragg, N.C. and U.S. troops stationed in Germany for the purpose of being sent to aid Israel, if necessary.


It is pretty sad that to please the Zionist power in America, U.S. Government officials are willing to sacrifice the lives of American boys to save Zionist/Marxist Israel.


Young men already in the U.S. armed forces and their parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters should especially be concerned about Israeli precipitated wars and attempts to involve the U.S. in these wars, because if necessary, to save Israel in one of their acts of aggression, the U.S. Government will bow to the American Zionists and send American boys into combat — the boys will have no choice but fight on the side of Zionist/Marxist Israel.

Sad to see the deplorable situation in our own government, the corruption and denigration of once a very powerful for the people government.

In todays America everybody that have money and power can buy anything but we the American people no longer can make our government work for us.

I am so tired of it.

Perhaps if we the people get together and start a donating money to build a money pit, we may be able to get enough money to buy our own government back.

Those who established this control would also become wealthy

By the late 1970s, one of the keys to gaining access to the
oil-rich central Asian states, was Afghanistan. If these states were
to be destabilized and stripped away from the Soviet Union, then
Afghanistan, with its Soviet-backed government, would have to be
torn lose first. Before and after Afghanistan fell, terrorist attacks
would be launched into the underbelly of the Soviet Union (14).
Afghanistan was also a key, because Afghanistan offered the
best route for an oil pipeline—a pipeline that would pump the oil
extracted from the central Asian states, across Afghanistan, to
Pakistan, and thus to the world markets via the Arabian sea.

However, in order for western oil companies and the CIA to
accomplish this, required Saudi Arabia and Pakistan as a partner.
The willingness to involve Saudi Arabia was strategic and
based on political reality. If the ruling families of Saudi Arabia
were not promised a huge piece of the central Asian pie, they would
refuse to cooperate in any destabilizing attacks on the Soviet Union.
As Saudi Arabia was also a major source of funds to Pakistan and
its ISI, if Saudi Arabia were not part of the equation, Pakistan too
would refuse to cooperate, and might even align itself with the
Soviet Union.

The Saudis were willing to cooperate for a number of reasons,
including those related to the spread of the Islamic religion,
and the creation of an Islamic superstate, and because they wished
to retain their power. If America alone won the central Asia oil
“prize” the Saudis would lose the power of oil and their ability to
effect the world economy by turning the oil spigot on or off.

Likewise, given that Saudi Arabia has the world’s largest oil
reserves, they key to controlling the world’s economy, and thus the
world, required a partnership with the Saudi kingdom
