It is not a riddle.

People who are being politically correct are not speaking the truth, usually.

All I am saying is that the policital truth, which is a stupid term, leads to lying.

And also, the term "political truth" is an oxymoron, because everyone knows that politicians lie all the time.

So the political truth does not exist.

Good.

Time to speak the real truth.

OK, but you seem to be saying both yes and no.

All I want to know is where you stand?

And a lot of people like to be quoted - so, sorry.

Some comments get on my nerves when people are talking against PC thats all. I aint saying its wrong.

Tell me where am saying PC is right? When i look at my posts i am saying i don't follow PC, i don't believe in it, i wish it to be dragged down like the berlin wall. Dose that not tell you where i stand?

I don't believe in Political Correctness, i don't follow it!

Well it wasn't an answer?

People who are being politically correct are not speaking the truth, usually.

Why are they not speaking the truth?
This is what i want answered.

All I am saying is that the policital truth, which is a stupid term, leads to lying.
And also, the term "political truth" is an oxymoron, because everyone knows that politicians lie all the time.

Do you know what political correctness means?

So the political truth does not exist.
Good.
Time to speak the real truth.

What is the real truth?

Do you think stereotypes and derogatory names for people are the truth?

Just a simple answer will do.

To be honest I'm not necessarily for or against PC.
I don't generally insult people or put people into categories or think of them in stereotypical terms.
So for me, PC is not really a concern.

I guess it's more about education those who are ignorant or perhaps just uninformed, of how people like to be treated and referred to.

Yes, sorry TS,

I see you are against it.

So why would you worry when people said it was rubbish?

I have not called anyone by a derogatory name.

What do you mean?

Answer my questions and then I'll answer yours.
That's how a debate/conversation works.

NO!!!

You said I called someone a derogatory name.

I did not.

I will be happy to debate with you, when you do not make false claims.

What is political correctness though?

Many on here seem to only equate pc with what words you can and cannot use.

I have no problem with that but I actually think using derogatory words to describe a black person for example is racist not just non pc, calling racism or bigotry being non pc trivialises things like racism.

The political correctness that I hate and think will ruin the UK is nothing to do with what you call people or what you say to them. It's where they tell everyone we must tone down our culture and traditions in case it offends some minority. But don't dare ask any minority to tone down theirs in case it offends.

So you don't know what PC means?

You can't read?

And now you just make stuff up?

I didn't say you called anyone a derogatory name....at all.... anywhere.

Take a deep breath....calm down and listen.

I was saying that because you keep saying "The truth is denied by PC" then maybe you think that people should be allowed to call people derogatory names and so on?

Do you actually know what PC is?

I don't see much point in this at all.

You have no idea and can't even answer ONE simple question.

I think that Britain has made that tragic mistake.

People are allowed to come into your country and take over, you are not allowed to go into theirs, and no-one can say anything about it.

Apologies, thats probably me just getting the two a little mixed up, they do tend to overlap to a degree. You are right, it is more a racism thing rather than a matter for the PC brigade.

Very true, i think this is what is getting to most people in the UK.

It's been said many times before, but just try going to other countries and dictating how PC they should be about our culture if lived there or moved there, i'm not so sure they would be so accomodating.

Well that's one aspect of it.
It's not necessarily about words you can't use.
Just more about generalizing and thinking in terms of stereotypes.

Other aspects would be things like "Fire-fighter" instead of fireman "Police officer" instead of policeman.

There are many aspects of it.

I am just concerned with people like spellbound who seem to say things like "PC denies the truth" and then wont back up that statement with an answer.

It's pathetic.

Well yes.
We have Racism, Bigotry and many other ISM's.

Hate-speech was brought in to tackle those from a legal perspective, and i guess PC was brought in to try and work from a more moral perspective.

It's a term that's massively overused and massively misunderstood though unfortunately.

Scroll back.

Stop being such an arsehole.

And stop spoiling for a fight.

You did say that and everyone can see it.

I have no interest in discussing anything with such a loser.

My favourite has to be the changing of the kids nursery rhyme from "What shall we do with the drunken sailor" to "What shall we do with the grumpy pirate".

Can't have those sailors that like a little tipple being offended now can we.

On a less positive note though, i do hear that a number of less than happy pirates have taken legal action over this.

No i didn't....at all.

I've just proved i didn't.
But with your lack of reading skills, coupled with your rather non-existent intelligence.. you can't seem to grasp that.... nor can you read the thread and nor can you answer any questions posed to you.

Thanks for proving with your insults, that you are exactly what i suspected to you to be.

You can't even have a debate or conversation.

Hilarious.

Thanks for the fun

Why do you call him a loser? All he did was ask you to elaborate on the statement you made in your second post. You haven't made any sense and have not even attempted to give body to your statement.

I'm also interested in hearing from you in what way PC can't be the truth. You seem to be very passionate on the subject yet have thus far failed to share your deeper thoughts on the matter.

He'll calm down I'm sure.

Worry? Rubbish?

If you read my comments again i think you will find out what i am trying to is that some people who are against PC seem to use the certain lines like ''Hasen't PC gone to far'' ect. Now i know that seems petty, though its something i see alot.

Now just because it gets on my nerves when i say that, dosen't mean i think its wrong or ''Rubbish".

Do you understand what i am saying now?

I know right?
I mean with all that treasure I'd imagine they would be far from grumpy.
And isn't that Un-PC to lump all Pirates in the grumpy category?
