What the hell, I have firefox with Adblock plus and also Ghoster.

Your new ad just locked my browser for 3 minutes.

Is this a new campaign ATS? People that have certain software get locked up with your flash advertisements?

I have all the fracking movies, back the frack off!

This has been happening to me too, what seemed randomly, for the last couple of days, maybe a week. My pf usage goes up, up, and away, but it's only when I open a new page on ats. Definately not every time, not even close, but it's annoying nontheless.
I have been perusing a lot of political threads lately, and i don't have DramaWare, so i figured it was that.

Good to know it's just ads.

It's a pile of feltercarb, and there's been a bunch of threads started flaming it.

I hate that ad, It disrupts navigation. I usually just reload the page when it pops up.

You are wasting your breath complaining about this ad.

People have been moaning for over 1 week and NOTHING has been done. Never mind that an advert is disrupting members use of the site. This ad doesnt matter as long as the ad revenues dont suffer. Seems like the problem with capitalism in a nutshell

It was addressed in an off hand way. SO mentioned a new revamping of the site and better control over adverts in this thread.

Yes.
Cyberdyne

As for the advertisements, some thing is being done to correct the issues reported by members.

i used to have ghostery on my machine and honestly, it gave me so many problems it wasn't even funny. for the most part, adblock plus is about all you need and so far, this and most all other sites have been ad free. I only occasionally have to block a directory.

Apparently the ad has been causing problems for quite a few members and it is being discussed and a resolution is being sought.

Please direct all such concerns to the thread Worst Ads Ever! (SkepticOverlord's Ad Hitlist).

This really does help us keep all advertisement complaints in one place. When they're sprinkled around the board in incorrect forums, the issue runs the risk of being missed.

Thanks.
