I went to my school today, and in the morning announcements it seems the school is wanting the students to send in letters to Steven Harper saying how much we want the treaty to be signed.

I told my teacher what was in it, she laughed and said really? I said yes, look at lord Moncktons videos and *sigh* Glenn Beck. She did, came back freaking out over weather it was true or not.

People are being propagated to say they want this thing without any information on it! kids! students! teachers! parents! all of them! are being told lies in order to accept this agreement!

How bad, or sneaky, is this getting?

Not that it could do any good...but...if I were you I would contact the press and try to get someone to listen to this.

And to think I opened your thread expecting to see your views on how kids should be allowed to use dipping tobacco at school.....

Packaged propaganda.

I commend you for challenging it and trying to educate the people around you. The problem is in misplaced direction. It's great these schools and children want to help save the environment and make the world a better place, but the ideas are not being realized.

Wow.
So your school is into the propaganda machine eh?
It was nice reading you educated your teacher to the madness.
I would talk to the principal and maybe even the press and ask why they want a one-sided answer and not your real feelings about it,or better yet an opposing view.
It seems unhealthy in a democratic system wouldn't you think?

Make everyone as aware as you can of this propaganda.

Unbe-freaking-leavable!!

So, the propaganda police are starting off from an early age now then.

The next thing you know, they'll be hitting out at the preteens through kids TV... "Come on children, lets all celebrate the treaty, YEEEEEEEY!"

Anyway, when has the treaty ever had anything to do with Democracy?

Where is your school located ?

You don't have to go on what Lord Mock said.

JUST SHOW HER THE TREATY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's obvious its in the treaty, ANYONE WHO CAN READ CAN SEE THAT IT PLANS TO SET UP A ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT!

Thanks for the feed back. Sadly, peoples everyday lives get in the way of change. Ironic eh?

Kitchener Ontario Canada is the location. I would hate to say it, but i think most Americans are...trapped in their own little reality.

North Americans. Anything that goes on in the states involving life style you can expect here in Canada to a degree.

I tried the principle, but shes a government loving person, and the old saying goes, "what you don't no will kill you".

Anyways, Im going to contact the radio stations and tell them to just give it a read over, and give their thoughts on these new demands.

EDIT: Anyone have the link to the treaty?

i'm so sick of this climate propaganda. i shudder when i think about my highscool, middleschool, and yes, even elementary school education - which were all filled to the brim with this kind of garbage. global warming needs to be separated out from pollution and sustainable farming as what it means to be an 'environmentalist.' you should definately contact someone.

i too, thought this was about chewing tobacco also, haha.

When I first saw this thread pop up, I thought naaawww, no way, the education czars wouldn't be pulling this crap.

I was WRONG!

I have spoke to a number of students in different schools in south eastern Ontario. It is a fact, one of their assignments is to write a letter to the Harper zombie and say how much they want him to sign the treaty.

However, not one student I spoke to has seen anything other than Al Gore's "An Inconvenient Lie." They haven't been given the facts on the sun's cycles, other planets polar caps melting or anything else and they certainly haven't seen Lord Monckton's video. The schools have not explained the Copenhagen treaty or the impact of the carbon tax and articles 38.a, b and c on page 18 of the UNFCCC. We are about to get screwed over by the incorrect ideas they have incited in our own children and the kids don't even know it.

I don't need to wonder how badly this will affect kids when they can't get vitamins or "real" food because we are all forced to operate under Codex Alimentarius and our ever so beneficial world leader?

So, the propaganda machine is alive and well in the Canadian education (read indoctrination) system. I suggest everyone that has kid's in school, contact their MP, MPP, the minister of education and their individual school principals and teachers, and tell them to start teaching, stop programming.

Cheers - Dave
