So no, the lives of these people are not the norm in terms of someone that is African American..... but yes it is the norm for African Americans that
dare be conservative or independent.
Yes. I know a gay man that is fiercely conservative...against gay marriage even. People are unique. Thats cool.
Glenn Becks message in using this carefully selected sampling is simply...the left and/or the black community is intolerant of the norm for their
party.
Is it good that there is intolerance of views that differ from general expectations? No.
But in the absence of Glenn Beck doing a special on Evangelical Christians who are Pro-Choice and not tolerated by their brethren. Or moderate
Republican politicians being put on "RINO" hit lists and having their own party come after them for not having "correct" political positions etc.
etc.
Absent that, then all he is doing is telling me "Liberals are ideologically intolerant"...when the reality is that many Americans are ideologically
intolerant...in no small part because folks like Glenn Beck keep hammering the wedge!!
It is a partisan message with an agenda. Yes those people have valid life experiences, and ironically Glenn Beck has used those experiences to serve a
partisan message and further the intolerant divide that plagues them.
