Reports from those in the Beltway say this was only a matter of time before it happened. If they weren't transporting the V.P. and they were driving recklessly then some heads should role.

Just another black eye to this administration.

Wondering if SS agents can be charged with vehicular manslaughter....or can they claim "national security"??? Also wondering if Biden popped off and told the guy to stand up?

The two vehicles, each driven by a Secret Service employee, had just arrived by military plane at Andrews Air Force Base and were being taken to a storage facility in the District, said Agent Malcolm Wiley, a Secret Service spokesman. He said they were not carrying any "protectees."

Seems they're gonna do a toxicology test on the man killed. This is a conspiracy in the making right now.

I noticed the time and date as well, and your right something doesn't add up. The only other source that I've found is the Fox News website.

If these guys were haulin ass for no reason then there definately is a problem here.

Well the story mentions wet roads, heavy armoured cars.....it's sounds like it's already being blamed on this poor man for crossing the street when they were driving.

I'll hold any further opinions till I get more facts.

It sounds like an msm apology tour for the ss thus far though.

Im not sure why its beyond possibility that the victim crossed the road when he should not have:

If they had fled the scene, then I would scream "conspiracy". But accidents happen. People do stupid things, people make mistakes. People get hit by cars all the time, unfortunately....and sometimes its their fault.

People see *secret service* and all of the sudden assume its something conspiratorial. Not sure why. I have 2 close friends who are SS and they are pretty normal, well adjusted people. What if the victim was struck by a regular Joe Schmo civilian. Would there still be a conspiracy?

They may not have been driving recklessly, accidents do happen. Years ago a guy jumped out in front of me, nothing I could do, I hit him and he flew over my car, still scares me to this day when I see a pedestrian too close to the road, I don't know what he was thinking. He lived thank God, luckily for me though a few cars pulled over as witnesses that I did nothing wrong.

My point is that it's easy to jump to the conclusion that those in authority are up to no good again but this time I don't think so, sometimes s### just happens.

My response was specifically about the implications of the toxicology test being done, and the excuses for the road conditions. It does sound like the making of a conspiracy. It will most certainly pop up as a conspiracy here, and it will have political tones. Within a week obama's socialism will have killed this man.

I am not saying anyone is at fault yet, because I am awaiting more information.

I agree, ppl have it beaten into their heads that 'the pedestrian has the right of way'
to most people that means that the car has magic breaks and will stop on a dime no matter what..

The SS have a track record of driving like madmen. Did you read some of the comments under the original source? For both vehicles to to hit this poor guy they would of had to of been bumper to bumper and I'd be willing to go out on a limb here and say Speeding.

One shoots a hunting companion and his successor's security runs down another.
Is there a curse on the VP position?
Were there any links between the two victims?
Were the vehicles "behind scedule" to be returned at 2:30AM?
And what's with the article ending that the investigation continues to "determine cause"?
Funny how noone knows anything when the SHTF....

This is an odd little tainty story for the admin. If I was the pedestrian
I'd be upset if only I wasn't so dead. And by the time he got to the hospital I'll bet he was really dead. How do you even get hit by 2 SUVs at an intersection? That part is a bit odd.

in most states the law says that the pedestrian has the right of way!
and just because you have a green light at an intersection does not automatically give you the right of way. you only have the right of way if the intersection is clear of pedestrians and other traffic.

if there was no other witnesses then i understand why they are doing a toxicology screen on the dead guy, but they also need to do one on the Driver that ran him over.

also it was in the DC area. more than likely that area is heavily covered by traffic cams, it would be very easy to pull up the cams from that intersection and see who had the green light.

and if the SS are like the local cops here in my area the speed limit is just a suggestion to them. whether they are responding to a call or not.

but no matter who was at fault for this unfortunate death if the SS isn't found responsible for this guys death people will scream bloody murder of a conspiracy and claim Obama or Biden had it covered up some how. just read the comments below the story on the op's link

I'm not seeing any updates on this, and not sure if the msm on t.v. has even mentioned it. It seems to be flying under the radar right now.

There's not enough information to come to any conclusion about this. Sometimes pedestrians are at fault in these situations, sometimes they're not.

That's the problem...where is the info? Seems like it's been swept under the rug already...

Maybe there's no conspiracy but it also seems strange there is no toxicology investigations.....I know if I was the driver I would have been hauled downtown.
