I thought this was an Excellent Interview and Dr. Paul presented himself extremely well!

His analogy was perfect about the cancer patient being treated with aspirin, that analogy was spot on!

I'm interested in the history of what he spoke about though, like it's been like this for ages when kings used to control the money, flip coins or diluted the metal.

I am extremely interested in this portion of history, can anyone give me some links of kings or any type of leader in history doing this?

I would extremely apreciate it!
Thanks

This guy should be President. I always liked what he has said about the economy and other affairs of the U.S.A. It's too bad they keep labeling him as a kook. He would have handled things differently that's for sure

This guy has some good ideas and opinions, but we all know even if he was president, it wouldn't matter. there is still congress. Our president doesn't have all this power that the American people think he does. he would be One voice being ignored by 535 people, with the combined power to override anything the president has to say.

So even if Ron Paul was to be elected as president, we would just watch what he has said during elections fade into the night, like we do with every other poor sap to be elected.

The only true way to change this, is for the American People to demand it Personally!

What this country needs is someone who will call out the corrupt. Name them...both corporate and political...and have them arrested.

That's what this country needs. Obama is not that man. He's made that apparent already.

An extremely popular President CAN get things done if the people give him enough support....as the rest of Congress would be held accountable for not supporting what the people want by losing their seats.

It works the same vice versa.

Sure he does, if we give him that power via support! This is still sort of a democracy and he can repair many of the problems if we support him and allow it. He needs our help and we should give him our support. Practice your rights and freedoms to the max. Its obviously not going to be a cake walk, but it is very possible. If the people demand it strong enough, he will have the powers to make things right again.. its people that think too small and never leave the box that don't make the difference. People that believe they cant make a difference don't make a difference because they don't even try.. they are already defeated without an effort.
