WASHINGTON - The unprecedented number of death threats against President Obama, a rise in racist hate groups, and a new wave of anti government fervor threaten to overwhelm the US Secret Service, according to government officials and reports, raising new questions about the 144-year-old agency’s overall mission.
The domestic threat is also growing, fueled in part by Obama’s election as the nation’s first black president, according to specialists who study homegrown radical movements.

Why is their a rise in racist hate groups.
I feel a lot of the Radio talking heads are fostering a concerted campaign against the current administration.

Guess any excuse to reinstate the censorship in the 'Fairness' doctrine would do, right? I personally feel there was a lot more vitriol coming from the MSM towards G. W. Bush than is going towards B. H. Obama. But then the socialists have never been able to take criticism, have they? Maybe that's one lesson from the right that would definitely benefit them to take.

You must live in a delusional world.
I envy the way you create your own reality and believe it.

Last but not least, the President is not black. His mother was a white woman,he was reared by white people, he thinks like a white man, talks like a white man.

Race Card:
the act of bringing the issue of race or racism into a debate, perhaps to obfuscate the matter.
...
The invocation of a person's race in a discussion in order to score points in that discussion
...
Examples of the Race Card I have seen on this board (see definition above) paraphrased:
"You voted for Obama because of his race so you could make history."
"You just hate Obama because of his race."
"Obama's not even black, he's 50%."
"Stop saying he's the first black president! He's not"
Why is their a rise in racist hate groups? I feel a lot of the Radio talking heads are fostering a concerted campaign against the current administration.
I wish it was just a disagreement with policy but the undercurrent of racism is unmistakable.

... especially when keeping the president safe is the Secret Service's job.

Because deny it as they may, many people are freaked out that a black man is our president.

So what is the US Secret Service supposed to do in Italy? Kinda hard crossing those boarders. They would have to set up with the local authorities.

...It does seem like Democratic presidents get more assassination threats and attempts than their counterparts, but any attempt at violence toward a president, no matter what his party, is a threat to our democracy.
