The Weston Supermare beach race is an annual event and many bikers take part, as you can see in this video posted here. Unfortunately, this year there was a bit of an accident.

Two bikers were seriously injured whilst a further 15 were injured to various degrees.
Apparently the organisation this year was lacking and marshalls tried to stop the race.

Many spectators tried to get a refund as the race was eventually delayed for four hours. The day was called off and rescheduled for next weekend, which will be free entry.

But if you think you got the spirit, and the bike, for this kind of race.. why not give it a go.. Not my thing though.. getting all that sand everywhere..would take a month of Sundays getting that sand out of your bike and clothing.. Looks like a lot of fun though.

You gotta have either lots of courage or no brains to race a motorbike on wet sand...

Yes there are a lot of bikers there.. way too many IMO

Must be great fun though.. really exhilirating..
