First watched this video ages ago. I found it hilarious then and I still find it funny now. Especially Omar Al-Farouq (Al Qaeda guy) - he is a class act and his words between 2:10-2:20 crack me up. There was something I took notice of when watching it this time that I did not realise last time.

So, why did I put this seemingly comedic video in this section? Well, if you watch it in full, you will notice that towards the end Omar mentions a landmark and date as a possible time for a Terrorist (or false-flag) attack.

From 2:21, he says, "Why don't you go to the Washington Monument...take the family...let's say October 12th 2009. Around 3:04..."

He goes on to say: "I think you will see that Al Qaeda is very good at organising things..."

So either he could be suggesting you will see an event from the Washington monument, or one on the landmark itself. Also notice how at 2:22 he looks down at one of his pieces of paper before giving the date and time of this event.

I know this "source" might seem very unreliable and I am merely speculating, but still it would be scary if something does happen on the 12/10/2009. Does anyone think there might be some truth to this date?

I don't think it was a script he was checking; he seemed to know what he was meant to be saying the whole time. It was the specific date and time of this event that he wanted to get exactly right - maybe for good reason.

I'm not losing sleep over this, don't worry. To me this is more comical than serious. However, I find it intriguing that he gives a landmark, date and time. Also notice how he stumbles when mentioning Bin Laden, like he is about to reveal the truth about him and the sentence then fades away (1:47-:152)

ya he forgot his lines, so are we going to get a new prediction every week until 12/21/12 or what. What happens when 12/21/12 passes and nothing happens you all going to stop worrying.

You do realize that this is THE ONION, right?

And it is from march of 2008, so the 12 Oct referenced would have been last year, 12 Oct 2008.

I agree with the OP.

The fact that the guy gave EXACT time and date is pretty weird.

It might be random, and nothing important, but considering the state of the world we live in, and how the government is losing control and is looking for another false flag, then this is pretty "odd" to say the least.

Time will tell, and hopefully this is just another "Operation Blackjack" nonsense, but we'll see.

I know it's The Onion and all, but why would the "Al Queada Operative" give a date like that? That's wierd, considering how worked up people are about terrorism. I would imagine you would have condemnation coming from multiple sources for something like that.

I can't find the book they mentioned anywhere, but why in the world would they have an "Al Queda Operative" give a date for a terrorist attack as a joke? "Take your kids to the Washington Monument" at a particular date and time and "see how good Al Queda is at organizing attacks"?? That's no joke.

Are we absolutely positive that "The Onion" by any chance didn't utilize any real "Al Queda Operatives"?

i disagree... seeing as how the Washington Monument was the intended target during the 911 events, together with the WTC & Pentagon.


what the zealots are threatning is only an excercise to make-up for the mistake on 911 that left the Monument standing and the White House untouched from all the fiery debris after the Monument (oblisk) targeted destruction.


they're just trying to tidy-up the prior phase of the operation on 911 so that it will be noted as a total success after all.

Yeah that's the angle I was sort of looking at it from. I mean, at first when you see him and hear him talk you are like "ok, that's some really bad acting from a CIA agent" but then when he goes on about the date, location and time, and the Bin Laden stumble...perhaps there is more than meets the eye. Well, we will soon find out if Mr Omar was right or not.

Is there a webcam available for the Washington Monument?
Today is the day, and I, unfortunately will not make it to the monument in time for the fireworks...Wait...is that 3:04 EDT, EST, or UTC? Have I missed it?

Wanted to make the October 11th event, but was just too lazy. Looks like I needn't have been there...but this time, I just have to see it!

Please! Direct me to the closest webcam so I can at least witness this upcoming non-event. The REAL one is set for 13 October, in Madrid, Spain @ 9:00 AM local, followed by a repeat performance at noon.

I am saying nothing has or will happen.
