Not a poem


Not a poem this is.
No children singing with bliss.
No rainbow images around,
No lovers making love on common ground.
No imaginary kiss.
Not a poem this is.
Have you watched the news these days?
Only the hated compete.
Only war,hurt and pain.
Only enemies meet.
Have you ever touched the sky
Closed your eyes and think...
And asked yourself why?
Why this world turned to a hell,
Ever thought of those close by?
Why no one does a thing
About what's causing our demise?
How everyone around you
became enemies in disguise?
Ever dreamed of becoming
the hero that saved the day?
But nothing found, not seen,
No solution that could've been the way.
Yet we all see days get dark
and people go inside,
Lock their windows, doors,
not ever sure for what they hide.
But none does a thing but wish.
Not poem this world is.
