All we really need are;

Gas masks to protect from the tear-gas nades

Football pads to protect from them shooting us with rubber bullets

Cotton balls in our ears to protect from sound weapons

Replica air-soft guns, not loaded, just to prove that they will still fire on us during a peaceful protest, even though we have no ammo

OH and we can wear all green, the color of greed.

What would they have done at the G20 meeting if everyone protesting came prepared? Drop a huge net on everybody from an invisible helicopter?
Were you planning on starting a riot?? Why would anyone fire on fully dressed riot control personnel during a riot? If everyone was dressed the same, the confusion would be incredible. But why would they fire on people in Halloween costumes in the first place unless they were rioting?

well its illegal to impersonate a police officer, or someone in the army.

you could very easily spend the night in jail with your costume confiscated.
imagine that, in a cold cell on hallowen in your pants.
Pretty sure people wear costumes like this every halloween, I don't think it would be considered illegal that day. It's kind of the point

No not planning on rioting one bit. Did you see the G20 comotion in Pittsburgh?

What would they actual riot police have done if everyone wore gas masks like them and just stood there exercising their freedoms, in the middle of tear gas clouds.

Shoot everybody with rubber bullets? thats why I said people should wear pads.

Yeah but this is people dressing up on a day of the year that people are expected to dress up. If no one's rioting, no real riot officers are needed to be present, unless you're acting suspiciously.

Full riot gear would be several $1000. I doubt many would spend that kind of money on a Halloween costume.

It would be fun, and the riot gear doesn't have to be the real thing, I could come up with a pretty good imitation for around $30

You might get black BDUs for $30 at a surplus store, but that's about it.

For a costume all you would really need is a pair of black cargo pants, a black dress shirt easy enough to by for under $10 or less at a thrift store on know how to shop online clearances. You can make a baton out of many items with electrical tape. The rest you can get and your local home depot or Lowes. Plexie glass if you look in the right places can also be found for next to nothing.
