More strange clouds/weather

this Sunday I took the family to the Albuquerque Balloon fiesta
As you can see in the first photo the day started off cloudy and unsettled...

the weather only got worse and all the pilots scrambled to get out of the air... that's not a dirty windsheld BTW those are windbands

Pretty cool...glad I wasnt flying that day...

That must be one of those pond ring clouds.

At least that's what the weather "experts" will tell you.

I'm not expert but I thought that photo came out really cool... going to have Walgreen's make that into an 8X10 for us too... my daughter gets credit for taking it BTW

What concerns me is, we have become so accustomed to these unnatural weather phenomenon, that threads like this don't even get any attention.

Very effective brain washing.

You're going a bit too high in the first one, be careful that you don't leave our atmosphere completely and become hopelessly lodged in orbit.
