son of krakatoa

From the ashes of its former self rises the phoenix.

In its never ending display of how amazing our world truly is, a new volcano is being born literaly right before our eyes - 5 yards per year! (I believe this is much faster than even the newest island in the Hawaiian chain is forming.

Very interesting.

an ancient cycle of death and rebirth, the offspring of a legendary volcano is growing at the spot where its parent was destroyed in the most cataclysmic natural event in recorded history - and becoming a magnet for adventure tourists from around the world.

Also i wonder if any of are OZ members heard this

The blast was heard in Australia and Burma, thousands of miles from Krakatau,

produced modern history's most powerful explosion - 30 times stronger than the largest thermonuclear bomb.

That must have been one hell of a gigantic explosion. Glad i wasnt there! lol
