I would not normally post something like this....but I am such a fan of the late Carl Sagan that this brought a tear to my eye. I grew up watching Cosmos and it was my first indoctrination into the studies of our universe and our home..The Earth. Watching this brought back some fond memories of rainy Saturday afternoons watching the program on public television. Enjoy.

I can`t thank you enough for ferreting out that fantastic trip down memory lane.
That was so uplifting , it brought a lot of memories of reading Cosmos late into the night flooding back.

It also caught me a bit by surprise .

I was expecting those dulcet tones but instead got a synthesised Sagan.

He opened my mind up and lifted my gaze to the night sky anew .
A sore loss to mankind.

I humbly "Thank You" for the memory trip to a common goal to the truth. We are living in turbulent times for sure, and we all need to get grounded from time to time. Thank You again,I needed this reminder.

I have the Cosmos collection on DVD. It's great!

Too bad Sagan isn't around anymore. I don't know what he would think about the state of affairs in this world today -- I know he would be disappointed, though.

Awesome sampling & vid, love it!
Yeah, same here, watched Cosmos when it first aired and recently purchased the re-edit. He certainly inspired a generation and hopefully generations to come.

Carl Sagan, A man before his time.
What memories.
I was inspired by him as far back as I can remember.
I still am.
