I sure picked a hell of a day to introduce myself

Hi all. I had thought of some witty introduction but it all got blown away - literally!
I'm from the East Coast of Australia and we're having some major dust storms and howling winds here. Woke up this morning and everything was red red RED.
I've never seen anything like it.

Welcome, and you're right - Australia is an interesting place to be right now. I can't believe those pictures of the red/orange sky - unreal. As I said in another thread, those photos look like they're from another planet. I hope the dust clears soon!

We had beautiful weather here in south east Georgia yesterday.

We are waiting for our rivers to start flooding soon with all the water coming from the Atlanta area.

Hope you can get you some surgical masks, make sure and change them
out when they get to hard to breath through or the dust starts getting
sucked in around the edges.

A damp towel can provide some relief til you get one.
