Knowing God

*I approach this with no religious standing.

-God is not a He, he is not a male. To have respect towards what is God is to, at best, call it a 'force'. Whether it is a force of love or hate, or just obsolete existence is upto you.
*To enforce a sexuality upon God would be disrespectful.

-God would not care whether you go to Church or the Mosque, because God does not deal with petty human emotions such as pride.
*To lower God to your standards would be disrespectful.

-God would not care whether you idolize 'Him' or not, because God does not deal with petty human emotions such as jealousy.
*To lower God to human standards would be disrespectful.

-God would not speak to people, as this would mean he is working against the reason 'He' has given us.
*To think that God created a flawed human reason without the potential of perfection would be disrespectful.

-God would not care whether you follow the rules of the church or abide by 'holy' traditions.
*To think that you need to follow a doctrine written by man in order to see God would be disrespectful.

-God would not speak to us through written texts, this would mean he is showing us the mind of God.
*To believe that the Mind and Will of God has been handed to us would be disrespectful as 'His' creation then would have no purpose.

What are we here for but to seek the mind of God? Whatever it may be.

yes, purpose of creation is to make god complete.
He is truth, and truth is one, this means nothing can be outside him,
it demands that lies are included not exluded from him.
therefore there is the paradox.

Do not say God does not want us to understand him,
we are a part of him, he allows us to understand him,
if we take our cross.
God is truth, and truth is something you can grow, by repenting: opposite of ignorance,
the kingdom is something you grow inside.

Creation in pain has an enddate. this world.
Creation to play is heaven.

I would think that saying "god would this" or "doing this would be disrespectful to god" is probably just as 'disrespectful'

How do you know that God would not want people to idolize 'him'?


Your suppositions seem to the exact thing you are saying God doesn't want?

Yup, i knew this would come up. It's very hard to point out your opinions though without sounding hypocritical.
