I see a lot of people fanning the flames and rallying ignorance. More because of the side they're on than the actual issues at hand. There is a lot of yelling but nothing to really back it up. Now, i am not a liberal, I'm not conservative. Those words hold no meaning to me.
A lot of people have been losing their temper over Obama, and arguing about how they think he is ruining America, bringing in socialism (socialism has existed in America for quite some time now.) fascism, anything that's a hot-word really. Don't get me wrong, the same is true for the other side as well. But to say that the whole of the right wing is calm and logical at this moment in time would be a fat lie.

And so, do not get me wrong on the fact that our country is being hijacked, but it's not being done by just the Dems, Obama and his admin.

I don't claim to know it all but, i am one to look for reason. It seems that when facts are presented and don't match someones look on things, the facts are denied and the conversation/argument is deflected, the subject changed.
So i would like to call the full spectrum of ATSers to start a discussion and to ask the question "What could we be doing instead of arguing and taking sides?"
Has anyone noticed that nothing is getting done? The least we can do when ass-planted in a computer chair is avoid unnecessary arguments, spiting each other for holding different political views, and to stop the spread of propaganda no matter how it will effect your side. Once those barriers are taken down maybe something will get accomplished.
WE'RE getting nowhere, while THEY are robbing us blind of our rights and money.

I don't care about getting starred and flagged, but if you agree with some of the things i said, please take it with you. Let it inspire. Or just ignore. But if anything don't flame, i am not out to insult you, and in the end your just spamming a thread and staying off the issue.

Frustration, disgust, finger pointing, I can't take anymore, it actually ruins my day,

Damned if I do, damned if I don't.

I hear what you're saying but (and I'm sure you'll agree) the past eight years weren't exactly models of temperance displayed by the left.

Both sides really need to chill moving forward. The rhetoric displayed by the right and left equally tends to distort important messages.

Oh i know; it's everybody. The left is just as bad.
People are missing the content and focusing on easy arguments.

Here is my ATS agenda. I am here for the psychological aspect. I watch you all. I take notes and compare. I read almost every thread that pops up on the recent posts board. After a time, patterns develop in posting habits. Its a game. Too often, I find myself becoming emotional and that's when I remember, its a game. Its like baboons showing their fat red hind-ends as a threat to other baboons. LOL

Sometimes, I get carried away and forget that you are all playing the game too. Isn't it fun? Everything is a conspiracy if you look at it right. That is the meaning of life; discovering and experiencing the conspiracies. Soon enough the psychological trap is triggered with you inside.

The psychological conspiracy to entrap your emotional energy, entrain your thought processes through extreme emotional response then reinforced by repetition results in ... ... ... ... ..... .... psychosis. No longer able to deliniate real from fantasy, you are putty in the hands of those who control the game. LOL

You no longer trust your intuition - check. You no longer trust anyone else's intuition - check. You no longer believe in the goodness of man - check. You are compelled to revisit topics to see what nonsense someone else believes in so you can reinforce your own beliefs - check.

Very much is being accomplished. You and I are playing a game that has dastardly consequences.

The Matrix and Web of Life is very entertaining. Just be careful. Step back once in a while. Take an observers stance when you feel overwhelmed by the information you take in from the interwoven net of information manipulation.

YOU is meant to represent the collective rather than the personal you OP. Its one of my bad writing habits.

The greatest fear of the people who control the political two party system,is the awakening of the public. When enough of the populace becomes aware that we have been manipulated by the media and the faux two party system. There will be a great shift in preception,an upheavel of truth seeking.

The battle of opposing views we have been subjected to,is a simple devisive tactic. No matter what the retoric being spouted,by either side, we are being herded in the direction they wish us to proceed. We must stop being sheep and become the shepards again.

Something is shifting alright.

It is in the air, you can feel it.

Three factors of change are population density, gender imbalance, and resource depletion. The factor of awakened people who realize they were manipulated will only be dangerous in the event of an immediate resource delpletion, which might happen soon with the economy tanked.

And isn't it a great game to be playing.
Yes i find myself overwhelmed by all the manipulation too at times. It doesn't hurt to spectate, and knowledge is gained when you do.

I catch myself in that writing habit too..

Seems to me that the OP says that he doesn't care of the Dems or the right or left but definately cares about Obama.

Ummm.... What's the difference?

You are not willing to put blame where it belongs so how are you any better than the people you criticize?

So i definitely care about Obama? really?

"A lot of people have been losing their temper over Obama, and arguing about how they think he is ruining America, bringing in socialism (socialism has existed in America for quite some time now.) fascism, anything that's a hot-word really. I put this thread in current events, and aren't republicans currently getting fed up with the democrats, Obama and his administration? It was an example.

I started out liking Obama and his ideas, that didn't last long. But to use certain tactics to gain support for either side is ridiculous. All sides are losing whats left of their credibility.

Sorry but comments like yours is why i wrote this today.
