Just wondering if it would turn red. Im in no way saying a blood red moon is a sign of anything religious, but most every story before science can be explained by science.

No, a lunar eclipse makes the Moon red because of the Earth's shadow and the dust in our atmosphere causes the wavelengths of the remaining light to be less visible.

A brown dwarf would not change the Moon's color at all because the Moon is a nice collection of grey rock and only reflects light. A brown dwarf is only a weak star that would more closely resemble Jupiter in appearance, and its arguable of whether it creates any light at all.
