There's a pretty starling thing in the bill that 95% of Americans won't like.

The Obama Health care bill under Class II (Paragraph 1, Section B) specifically includes ‘‘(ii) a class II device that is implantable." Then on page 1004 it describes what the term "data" means in paragraph 1, section B:

14 ‘‘(B) In this paragraph, the term ‘data’ refers to in15
formation respecting a device described in paragraph (1),
16 including claims data, patient survey data, standardized
17 analytic files that allow for the pooling and analysis of
18 data from disparate data environments, electronic health
19 records, and any other data deemed appropriate by the
20 Secretary"

What exactly is a class II device that is implantable? Lets see...

Approved by the FDA, a class II implantable device is a "implantable radiofrequency
transponder system for patient identification and health information." The purpose of a class II device is to collect data in medical patients such as "claims data, patient survey data, standardized analytic files that allow for the pooling and analysis of data from disparate data environments, electronic health records, and any other data deemed appropriate by the Secretary."

This sort of device would be implanted in the majority of people who opt to become covered by the public health care option. With the reform of the private insurance companies, who charge outrageous rates, many people will switch their coverage to a more affordable insurance plan. This means the number of people who choose the public option will increase. This also means the number of people chipped will be plentiful as well. The adults who choose to have a chip implanted are the lucky (yes, lucky) ones in this case. Children who are "born in the United States who at the time of birth is not otherwise covered under acceptable coverage" will be qualified and placed into the CHIP or Children's Health Insurance Program (what a convenient name). With a name like CHIP it would seem consistent to have the chip implanted into a child. Children conceived by parents who are already covered under the public option will more than likely be implanted with a chip by the consent of the parent. Eventually everyone will be implanted with a chip. And with the price and coverage of the public option being so competitive with the private companies, the private company may not survive.

So will everyone be covered by the public option eventually??????

And does that mean everyone will be chipped?????

Does it specifically say that people will be required to receive an implant? Is this in the final draft of the bill that does not exist yet?

I only ask because of how horribly wrong everyone got the 'end of life care' thing. There is not one bill being considered. There are 5 'drafts.' Everyone seems to be sure they know what is going to be in the final draft that still has to go through comittee, reconciliation, yadda yadda. I do not see anything here that specifically requires and implant. Do you?

Thanks for this. You have HIT THE NAIL ON THE HEAD and found what exactly 100% of us have suspected would come down the pipe at some point. Whether by way of economic or medical means.

It's in the thread, www.abovetopsecret.com...

PG 1003 9-11 National Medical Dev Reg ''(iii) other postmarket device surveillance activities" you WILL be tracked.

What the Bill Says:

‘‘(iii) other postmarket device surveillance
10 activities of the Secretary authorized by this
11 chapter; and

That is what he is referring too, but the section is about medical device implants, such as:

SEC. 2521. NATIONAL MEDICAL DEVICE REGISTRY.
12 (a) REGISTRY.—
13 (1) IN GENERAL.—Section 519 of the Federal
14 Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (21 U.S.C. 360i) is
15 amended—
16 (A) by redesignating subsection (g) as sub17 section (h); and
18 (B) by inserting after subsection (f) the
19 following:
20 ‘‘National Medical Device Registry
21 ‘‘(g)(1) The Secretary shall establish a national med
22 ical device registry (in this subsection referred to as the
23 ‘registry’) to facilitate analysis of postmarket safety and
24 outcomes data on each device that—
25 ‘‘(A) is or has been used in or on a patient; and
1 ‘‘(B) is—
2 ‘‘(i) a class III device; or
3 ‘‘(ii) a class II device that is implantable,
4 life-supporting, or life-sustaining.

So what I gather from this is that, if you get a medical implant they will keep data on the implant to determine how effective it is, etc.

The kicker is though is that they said the records will comply to privacy standards and what not, but this gives them the option for addiction tracking.

Predictable. Sadistic, but predictable. Tag us like cattle, docile, controlled, subserviant cattle.

Before long, they're going to offer a life of luxury, riches and all else we could ever want. All we'll have to give up in exchange will be our souls.

The chances of my getting tagged are about on par with my taking the vaccine

Leagally required or not, it makes no difference. It is yet another stepping stone to the ultimate realization of their plans. By doing things in this manner we will be desensitized to all things "Chip". Be it RFID or GPS capeable. It will become the norm. It will get you into clubs faster, knock a few bucks off the grocery bill and pay for your gas with it by linking it to a credit card. How convieniant.

Baby steps folks, Baby steps. If you want to see how far baby steps will eventually get you think back to 1990. Cell phones were almost non existant, only Doctors carried pagers, almost no one owned a personal computer and even if they did there was no internet perse to gather information at the pace we do today. If you had a Sega genisis you were
a serious gamer and cars were still being made with tape decks from the factory.

That wasn't even 20 yrs ago. Where the # do you think we are going to be 20 yrs from today?
Think about it.

I have to honestly say anyone that desperate or that stupid to allow such a thing...deserves such a thing.

Obama-Care?

What do I look like a Cult of Personality groupie or something?

Right...I opt for the Franklin Care plan it's called how many Benjamins does it take for you to see me right now Doc?

People need to face facts and that is the majority of the population it seems really do want 'taken care of' from crib to coffin by the State. They really do favor and want socialism because they lack the drive and the apptitude to be successful in the capitalism system.

If they want chipped and bad medicine and bad food and bad government well let them have it I say.

Makes no difference to me. April 15th is a Holiday for me!

Say no to Goverment Health Care, say no to Taxation without Representation and say no to being chipped.

I would have to wonder how many unsuspecting people already have this such as military personel. I'm on disability and it's likely I was a subject of this when I became voluntarily homeless. I know I set off those metal detectors in government buildings already.

I read it differently from the bill currently under consideration, in Section 2521.

It's discussing devices that are currently implanted such as: pacemakers, portable dialysis devices, pain mediation implants and other similar items.

I am at the point where I don’t know why I spend as much time on this site as I do anymore.
What? You heard me correctly.

It seems nearly everyday, I log on, and I am shown one more reason that I should spend much less time on this site.

Proof and more proof, everyday, that I should not be here, continuously being shown that war is right around the corner.

I have accepted long ago that I will more than likely die (preferably not) fighting for my and my family’s rights and freedoms.

I have seen more proof than was ever necessary. One more just makes me wonder why I continue to “waste” my time reading.

I already know, one more smoking gun uncovered can’t prove any more than has already been proven,
Ad Nauseam.

It Ate Everyone!!

Rather than being here, I should be doing the real important stuff:
One more sandbag.
Pour more concrete.
More magazines and stripper clips loaded.
Wires to be snaked and walls to be erected.
Fire up the Food Saver, more food to be saved.
Spend more time with son, Gabriel,
For I don’t know how much more time
Before the inevitable.

I'm sorry but this bill is too insane to ever be passed. What are the poll numbers now for the dissaproval of this bill? Its certainly one-sided. More people against than for. They can slam it through all they want but finally the people smell b.s. I have faith that before SHTF that things will work themselves out when enough people wake up.

I won't even get into how Obama's approval ratings are reaching Bush level's.

I've been saying this for years. Congress is and will continue to be the problem. Our officials and representatives work for themselves, rather than for us who employ and pay them. A flush of the entire body of congress should be required. Chronies don't change. Chronies dont even have change, they only have $100 bills in their pockets.

Naw, you still seem crazy. Nobody had contentions with the proposition of putting chips in people. They had contentions with the motivations you guys proposed FOR the chips.

Most people who stay current with science, technology, biology, and philosophies have known that implanted chips have been a long time coming. Michael Crichton wrote the Terminal Man in the 70's. Masamune Shirow wrote Ghost in the Shell in the late 80's, and it spawned a popular cyberpunk movie in 1995 - launching the franchise to stellar proportions. It's currently one (if not the) most popular animes in America - even among those who don't care for Anime. The Matrix, inspired by GitS, is one of the most popular movies in America, and around the world.

The merger of biological and computer systems is inevitable.

Personally, I think it's rather weak sauce. Even if this pans out, it's scope is limited to pretty much Health Care records - which already exist in detail on you, but on paper. They need to be digitized to save resources, streamline information transferance from doctor to doctor, and tidy up the mess. We've got a huge revolution coming in medicine as genetic and tissue engineering technologies mature and pass clinical trials, and we need to get our S* in gear. Implimenting designer medicine would be a cluster-f* under the current obtuse system. And really... your medical records are no safer in a filing cabinet than they are in a database.

Me, on the other hand, I want more than this chip. Bring on the BCIs, experience beaming, and digital memory storage!

Fiction

Reality - thus far. (Consumer BCI product)

Future?

You're worried about this one chip? Ooooohhhh boy, you're in for a rude awakening. Noone is going to force you to merge with technology, but you're going to get left behind. I guess you could join an Amish community. I'll find a way to deal with the inconvenience of passing your Horse and Buggy on the highway, if it means you can stay totally chip free. I don't mind.

First, I don't read it that chips will be implanted under this bill.

Second, if chips were mandated, most people would line up to receive them if it was tied to them getting their government benefits.

I remember when people used to say they wouldn't ever sign up for direct deposit either. But look at them now.

An Obama / Anti-Christ connection-joke? Oh how clever! Hur hur hur.

Personally, I'm still firmly convinced that Mikael Gorbachev is the Anti-Christ. I heard some pretty damned convincing evidence and theories back in the 80's, and nobody since has quite fit the bill nearly as well. It's got to be him. He even had the big ugly mark of the Beast on his forehead - mocking us for not realizing it. I think someone did a numerology study on that birthmark and they came up with 666!

Any day now his nefarious net will snap shut and doom us all. We will gnash our teeth and curse our inability to destroy that monster when we had the chance!

You really should have splurged the extra money for the Reynold's Aluminum Foil and not gone for a generic.

People who really care search long and hard for old giant balls of Aluminum Foil and look for the Alcoa brand!

Yes driven from the market because it's Aluminum Foil could foil any electronic invasion the Alcoa brand Aluminum Foil would have spared you suffering this fate...

Sadly the damage done all ready can not be reversed.
