House and Senate Reject E-mail Surveillance

Rep. John Murtha, D-Pa., senior Democrat on the subcommittee, said of the program, "Jerry's against it, and I'm against it, so we kept the Senate amendment." Of the Pentagon, he said, "They've got some crazy people over there."

now that's classic...good to know there's some good people still working for the people.

Well, there just *may* be hope for us poor citizens to keep *some* of our Constitutionally-guaranteed rights & freedoms yet...
