How has ATS changed or shaped your way of living?

How has this site changed the way you view the future? Do you find it exciting that something just might happen and you're anticipating the year 2012 and beyond?

Or do you just think all of the stuff posted here is just a bunch of baloney? and you just read it for giggles?


P.S sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

While I have always been politically aware, ATS has put me in a place where I am more aware of bills that directly affect our rights, and keeps me on the phone calling senators and reps. I write, email, and call congressmen from other states to encourage them to vote for or against bills that I feel are harmful.
I am also aware that we are teetering on the edge of a social meltdown, so I have started putting together survival equipment, stockpiling food, ammunition, etc, just in case. If nothing happens, I'm well equiped to go camping, and I have to rotate my food supplies anyway.
I have to admit, ATS has made me a little paranoid, but a little paranoia can be a good thing. It can keep you alive.
