As Attorney General Eric Holder weighs whether to name a special prosecutor to probe reports of detainee abuse during the Bush era, Democratic lawmakers are trying to determine why Cheney demanded that Congress be kept in the dark about some covert CIA plans after 9/11. There is no guarantee that these and other probes won't at some point require the testimony of the former President and Vice President.

Wow, could you imagine, Bush and Cheney being brought and grilled in front of congress?

I know I would be glued to the TV. It might just happen, but I doubt it. The Bush dynasty is very powerful, and Cheney has got his claws deep into the "Secret Government"

It sounds to me like there may have been more than one secret program going on without the knowledge of Congress.

Or, at least, congress turned the other cheek.
