We've all seen the movie and heard about what happened during the Apollo 13 mission. We've even had some easily debunkable UFO pics from the mission. These images are different - the object(s) in them have not yet been accounted for prosaically.

This "UFO' certainly doesn't look like a flying saucer or even 'alien' - in fact, it looks more like something produced here on earth...but by who, and for what?

Perhaps the Apollo 13 spacecraft was shadowed by others from earth, maybe they intercepted the crippled spacecraft - or maybe it is a chance encounter with some of the local spacefaring lifeforms known as critters.... or just maybe even real alien craft.

We don't know for certain whether the objects are American or Russian Satellites - but it is there and it did attract the attention of the crew; they took several images of the "UFO" until more appeared.
(this is not something they would have done if it was a reflection of a light in the porthole...)

A 'UFO' appears - note the extensions to either side; like solar arrays:

The 'UFO' gets closer - the extensions become more pronounced:

The Astronaut Is definitely interested - He takes yet another shot of the object:

Two more 'UFOs' appear - this called for another picture:

oh come on.
just looking at that it is rather obviously out of focus, and the coloration of the sky + size of the moon in the picture pretty much scream "taken from inside earth's atmosphere". insect or bird anyone?

..."taken from inside earth's atmosphere"...

...insect or bird anyone?

Greetings,

Is that your final determination?

*That is the Earth in the pictures, not the moon....

Apollo 13 lifted off on 11 April, 1970.

Damage occurred on 13 April.

Here's a Lunar phase calendar for April, 1970:

Thanks...

But how is that relevant to the discussion?

and you might want to link your sources, more specifically the original source of the photograph.

It is relevant by comparing the apparent phase of the Moon in the photos from your OP to the historical record of the phase as observed from Earth, on the days in question. Enroute from Earth to Moon, Moon should appear the same.

Especially since the claim is that the UFO was following after the explosion in the SM occurred.

That's why...

...I got these images from NASA; they are images from the Apollo 13 mission.

The LPI has them on their site too.

You act like you've never seen them before.

I wanted to see how you guys would react if I posted them without the image data... You're clearly incredulous of NASA's material.

JScytale suggested the images are taken from inside the earth's atmosphere and might be of an insect or bird.

Edit: Start at AS13-62-8901 and work your way up.

I see you are now posting images from the site I suggested, but you should identify the photos, it makes things easier for other people, would be more polite and it would show that you have nothing to hide.

All the photos I could see with those "UFOs" (that look suspiciously like something close to a lens flare) are:

AS13-62-8901
AS13-62-8902
AS13-62-8903
AS13-62-8904
AS13-62-8905
AS13-62-8906

I also noticed that you jumped the second and the last photos, but don't worry, here they are.

I forgot to say that no, that is not the Moon, it's the Earth, as anyone can see on the original size photos, from which I made this cropped version.

Thanks for posting those UFO images Armap.

I wonder if it is satellites or a genuine UFO event.

Hmmm.

what is your source? because those images look heavily modified. These are the same images from the Apollo Image Atlas:

www.lpi.usra.edu...
www.lpi.usra.edu...
www.lpi.usra.edu...
www.lpi.usra.edu...
www.lpi.usra.edu...
www.lpi.usra.edu...

EDIT: I imagine they are touched up or processed? Which would explain the blue coloration / white noise in the background / etc.

I wonder if you just make crap up just for the hell of it.

And you have the gall to say NASA lies and manipulates things.

pfft

I think they are lens flare or the light reflecting on the window, they look like just a light effect.

But I do not have any way of knowing it, unless we get more photos with the "UFOs" in front of something much closer.

you're talking about exuberant here.
anyone with half a brain who has ever read one of his posts or theories doesn't take him seriously.
