If John McCain came out and said that he would like to have this looked into and held a press conference about it then it would hold more weight then a guy avoiding being deployed and a Russian Dr that I have never heard of before.


I think that it is because they feel that it is useless to do so and would make them look wacky and that would not be good for their careers. Just look at ATS, the public is divided on this issue with one side believing it (as do I) and the other side calling them ridiculous and wacky, conspiracy theorists. The only people "safe" to come out with information are those that have nothing to lose in public life, such as a Russian Dr that you've never heard of before.
