The point that needs to be seen here is the vigilance that Israel is guarding the border going into Gaza. The article linked does go on to say that it was a small boat carrieng supplies and toys for Gaza, and that other boats had gotten through in the past. There boat was searched and then given clearance to proceed. So if Israel is guarding the water way as closely as it seems, I can't help but wonder if it has been used to smuggle weapons before.

With respect- the Gazans need aid- no doubt- but they've also re-opened tunnels between themselves and Egypt- mainly for odnance.

How in god's name can ANYONE differentiate the two?
