Isn,t this proof of obama's disdain and loathing for OUR Constitution? His sudden silly love affair with the commie/socialist/fascist crowd

I agree, but it is coup. not coop. Coop, where my chickens come home to roost at night, or co-op, the dang electric company that charges me more than is necessary for electricity, all the while sending me mail telling me that my 200 dollar a month bill is cheaper than my sister's 75 dollar a month bill.

If north korea launches a rocket at HI and Obama does nothing...will we have our own coup?

I'm not sure what to think about this whole situation. I need to get all the facts before I take a firm stance for one side or the other. With that said, initially I was confused as to why Obama was so outspoken about the coup when he was silent for days during the Iran election revolts. But what is ver interesting to me is that the UN also wants the re-instatement of the previous leader even though by all reports he was trying to make himself dictator.

The incident in Honduras was nothing like that.

The military in Honduras was operating in coordination with the Congress, Supreme Court and the Attorney General against an illegal and unconstitutional move by the former President.

Any action by the US military against the US government would require an actual fullscale Pinochet style coup aimed at all three branches. I don't think its impossible at some point, but highly unlikely anytime soon. It would take a monumental event to intiate it. General Tommy Franks implied that if another 9-11 scale terror attack happened, the civilian government would more or less become obsolete and not survive in the wake of an attack.
