The Mothman Prophecies- The Book, not the Film

I did a search with the awesome*cough* boolean engine, and didn't find any threads yet.

So, I'm wondering if anyone here has read the book. If so, what was your opinion of it?

I read it after I saw the movie and it really gave me a good spook. The book makes a lot more interesting connections between events and sightings and leaves a lot more questions. Thats ok because books should leave you asking yourself questions but the movie couldnt do that without risking turning away the masses. I have to run but I'll be back to give my thoughts about the book.

I read it in 1989. To tell you the truth it scared the be-geebers out of me. I didn't sleep well for awhile for some reason. It's a story that is very hard to believe, but also very captivating.

When I heard they were finally making a movie I was so excited. What a total friggin let down. Why couldn't they stick with the actual story - it's not like it lacked drama! They screwed it all up. pfffffft
