Once again, source? Is there really a point to this? Choosing to be a vegetarian because you love animals is great but is the false information really called for?

Hi again Dev

It is about dolphins, but it also spills into animal cruelty, which is very closely related to our food industry (they are slaughtering these dolphins for their meat.

The only one essential vitamin that I can find is B12, which doesn't actually come from the animal meat itself. It's produced from bacterium which can also be obtained from the soil. Improperly washed foods would contain it naturally. Some alternatives could be soy products, fortified breakfast cereals, yeast byproducts, some plant milks, and... of course... feces (lol).

It's really interesting that we need a vitamin that is produced in dirty food products. It seems ten micrograms of B12 spread over a day appears to supply as much as the body can use. So we only need a tiny amount.

Actually, as the 'fishermen' admitted themselves, the meat is but an excuse.
They are slaughtering them so that they don't eat 'their' fish.

Thanks for that info

I'm sorry to say I probably won't be able to go and watch the film, the trailer was bad enough. It's not that I'm ignoring the issue, but I get really upset seeing the slaughter. I will definitely spread the word though.

A great movie about our dependence on animals called Earthlings is the same for me. Great documentary but I couldn't get right through it.

I hope these murderers get some of their own back, in this life or the next
