I'm wondering (maybe it's my second glass of wine), where the first Redcoat/Current administration shooting of Civilians will occur. I'm wondering which state will say 'enough!', and force some carbon-taxing, socialist healthcare taxing, brown shirt civilian security-force, wealth redistributing, centralized power government will open fire upon our citizenry and turn average Americans into the resistance? Seems the states and cities are doing their best to hide and shrink tent cities, and state and city governments (where they've had a Fed bail-out) are in lock-step with the new federal government. Would we be shot be at a protest? At a run on a bank? At a WTO gathering? At the ranch of another anti-tax protester? Since Congressmen and Congreeswomen have sold their souls to the Feds, Citizens no longer have representation. I can already smell them prepping their weapons, the odor of their rifle bore cleaner (LSA, Breakfree).

It would certainly suck to see Civilians hurt by the feds, and it would suck to see innocent young fellow soldiers be viewed as the enemy by us (many ex-soldier) Civilians. But it feels like it's coming. I would hope we don't fire back for some time.

Since we're living through this history, it would be nice to keep track of history before it's rewritten.

Where do you think the Feds will take over first? Businesses? States? Protests? Media? Where do you think they'll open fire? Who will get hurt?

IMO it depends on, if you believe big business is actually the ones running our gov't, that and a few others in the mix and "who are we up against?"
To me it looks like its the "haves" VS "The Have Nots"
The gov't has little to do with any of this.

Maybe we could start a betting pool?

I think you were on the right track to begin with. I think they'll be a massacre in a tent city somewhere and a dozen homeless families will be killed, however no one will care.

The government will likely be emboldened by thier blatent mass murder and will strike a second time. This time they will likely blast some rich guy by mistake, who is trying to get to his parked Mercedes through a crowd of demonstrators who are protesting gays in the goverment getting healthcare benifits or some such. Again no one will care but the poor SOB will be held high as a martyr to the cause.

I think we are talking about a lot of "IF's" here. I don't necessarily think that this will come to pass but I do see how it could.

IF there were to be a massacre in the streets or in a tent city somewhere, I think you could bet dollars to donuts that the government and mainstream media would do everything in their power to prevent the info from getting out. You have to know that they are watching Iran with a keen eye and seeing where they are failing at quelling dissent. They are learning from these mistakes. I would bet that before any large scale engagement with protesters was to take place that the internet would be on lockdown, cellphone service would be shut off to the area and the media outlets would be in full scale propaganda spin mode.

Where will the first shots be fired? Tough to say, but California has to be a good bet. They will be the first to feel the real pain of what is going on here. They are the first on the chopping block.

It already started with the police beating and firing on the people. I think the poor areas will stand up first and they'll be alone because the middle class will never stand.

It will occur wherever the first state goes bust and cuts off all of those socialist entitlements. It will happen when the entitled ones fail to get their free money and food and rent at the beginning of the month. "We DEMAND our FREE entitlements!" they will shout .. and when it doesn't happen, they will FREAK out and riot and then the lead will fly. So, the question now becomes which state will go bust first? When the entitled ones fail to get their free stuff from Uncle Jack Sham, that's when they will be coming directly to YOU for their free entitlements, so be ready for them.

Perhaps the most accurate assessment of all.

I'm betting on California, even though there are alot of states on the fence. It's just Californians tend to be a little nutty and they got lots of poor people and gangs there.

I think the "first shot" would be fired somewhere in heavy traffic. That's where people seem the most aggrevated, impatient, hurried and angered.

Don't know which city or state, but take your pick, most have become so back-choked with cars during peak hours, someone always snaps. Then road-rage. Escalating to a surreal, bumper-car type anarchy, followed by police and rescue personnel attempting to restore order.

By force, of course.

For anyone to care it would have to be the middle class who are affected - and since the middle class by and far don't want to give up their plasma screen TVs and 3 bed over mortgaged bungalows they will continue to tow whatever it is the PTB throw at them.

They don't need fema camps to control the vast majority, all they need is the threat that we won't be able to shop ourway into enslaving debt- that's enough to keep almost everyone in line.

My guess woudl be Ohio. I beive thiers a mlitary base that was made thier last year..NORAD maybe its called? Their were reports of military going back n forth between ohio adn tennessee. It coould happen anywhere! Think about it..economy sloes n gets worse, infaltion sets in..its one of the extrememly hot and humid annoying summers, bearing down ontop of everyoens suffering...that can ignite riots, especially people trying to survive for food! What better excuse can be mae, as to say extremisits needed to be controlled..as an excuse,so if the time came,..and the way the media lies to the public...it would their cover, so the masses wouldnt focus and revolt to the seante floor itself.

Detroit or L.A.

It will be after the draft announcement and it will involve the ones that segregate themselves into skin color groups against government.

Prepare the FEMA camps!

I just have a hard time picturing races banding together against the government. I can see them banding together against the "whites" who will end up taking the blame for all of their plight though. For any action against the government to be successful, it will have to raise itself above racial barriers.

surely the question shouldn't be where will the first shot be fired it is where was the first shot fired.

the war of oppression on the people of the world has been going on for 20 years, it's just that no-one told you. the war on drugs is what they call the war on the citizens of their own country and the war on terror is what they call the war they're waging everyone else.

you see, being convicted on a drugs charge makes you a 2nd class citizen, and seeing as how it's mostly poor people getting busted it enables the PTB to make you believe that all poor people are 2nd class citizens, lazy welfare soaking, drug taking, good for nothing sponges.

all they need to do now is make as many people poor as possible.....so, who wants a 2nd mortgage they can't afford?

I'm sorry...

The shot(s) have already been fired. We waited to long to retaliation, and our Republic has bled.. with the Shot Never Heard Around The World, through silent infiltration, through smooth speeches, through excellent propaganda, through bribery and treason, while we sat in our computer chairs, our couches.. we missed it.

IF it comes, it will most likely come from Los Angeles, California.

I'm sorry to say that my state is facing an all but insurmountable budget crisis; there is no avoiding the fact that many people are going to suffer terribly as a result.

People in pain tend to lash out

Lest we forget, LA has already been the site of two violent, cultural uprisings: the Watts riots in the 60's, and the riots following the Rodney King trial in the 90's.

The Summer's hot, the people are streched to the breaking point, and the government is increasingly seen as the "enemy".

All in all you have a very explosive mixture just waiting for a spark.

If the State government starts issuing IOU's because it can't fix its budget, without cuts to social programs and increased taxes, there will most likely be blood.

And once things explode in Los Angeles, I'd be willing to bet that the social "fire-storm" will spread across the nation.

Remember, the Hippies spread Love to a whole generation from San Francisco; California seems to be were everything starts.

Good and bad.

Welcome to democracy buddy, why dont you gather round your minions from Mobil Alabama and lobby against it in Washington, using democracy at its finest.

socialist healthcare taxing

Are been taxed more? Socialist? This country wouldnt be anywhere without some form of mass collective financing I assure you.

brown shirt civilian security-force

Were you forced into this security force? Was anybody harrassed? I'd swear I was on some drama show with all this talk of dictatorship, socialism coming from conservatives. A real cheesy drama might I add.

wealth redistributing

which has been around for centuries. Anything that involves a collective financing scheme managed by the government is a redistribution of wealth, the trickle down system, the trick up system, the nation sales tax in place of the income tax, so long as money is been taken out of your pocket for the nation, for the defense force, its going to be wealth redistribution. You really dont make a good argument if your accusing this administration of redistributing wealth, which has been going on for over a century, in every nation include these United states of america. I bet you were one of those folks complaining to the mayor regarding that pothole on your street?
how ironic that would be I tell ya.

centralized power government

What rights were taken away from the states, can you enlighten me? You know last week South carolina voted for the stimulus despite the cries from the fringe? They chose to take the stimulus money.

will open fire

"will" "going to" "suspected" "thinking" are at the beginning of most sentences on these conspiracy theory forums. Speculation.

I am sorry your so angry, things are not going your way. Heres a suggestion, vote 2010 and 2012, in that way you can campaign and get support, where democracy works at its finest.
