(Reuters) - The U.S. Navy is tracking a North Korean ship under a new U.N. resolution that bars Pyongyang from trading in weapons, including missile parts and nuclear material.

U.S. officials have declined to say what the Kang Nam might be carrying, but said it was "a subject of interest." The vessel left a North Korean port on Wednesday.

You couldn't make this stuff up. The USS John McCain out to catch North Korean missile and nuclear weapons proliferators.

I haven't heard an analysis until now referring to a possible standoff at a foreign port when the US waits for them to dock for refuelling.

Won't be too long until this happens now, as it can't take too long to get from East coast of China down to Singapore.
