Looks like a good movie! Awesome special effects. I will be seeing this one too!

Looks like great visual effects during the trailer. Hopefully it's not so hokey and fake during the actual 2-hour movie that we're all sitting back rolling our eyes, waiting for it all to end.

I think it'll be like 30 mins of super OMFG DID YOU SEE THAT moments and the rest of it snore bore yawn fest. Heres hoping it's epic... certainly looks it.

The same guy that directed Independance Day, Godzilla, The Day After Tomorrow and 10,000BC?

Yeah, I think I'll give this one a miss.

I am...appalled. No matter what occurs this movie does nothing but hinder the possibilities. When the mass consciousness believes negativity is to come, then it will. Obviously, you can just say that this is "just a movie" but this is not the case. This movie, whether you know it or not, is fear breeding. I highly doubt that this movie was created in order to promote fear. However, that is what is will accomplish. I understand that this is entertainment, but like I said...it will merely push the mass consciousness towards negativity about the winter soltice of 2012.

anyone catch what it said on the '2' at the end of the trailer? had a message or something.

Stargate, Independence Day, The Day After Tomorrow were watchable movies,

but, I agree with you about 10000BC...

didn't watch Godzilla, however

this will be a movie filled with special effects, and I think a lot of people around the globe will enjoy the destruction of the White House scene

Best movie ever?

Is it just me or does every time a conspiracy theory become quite big a film is made about it?

The film looks good but it's slightly disturbing to see the planet crumbling like that.

I bet you cant wait to see his new film 2013, it stars fluffy bunnies and bubbles, that should shake the negative attitude from the public to one of happiness and cuddles all round eh?

Can you imagine someone who has never heard of this whole 2012 thing and they decide to google 2012.

well i think 2012 will bring about a new age for humanity..... i mean so many different ancient cultures across the world agreed on one thing... that 2012 is the end of one age and beginning of another... how can this be?

perhaps it isn't going to be the end of the world, but the beginning of one.

The actors in it don't interest me much. Effects look awesome though. So they're building a 21st century noah's ark huh?

Cant went for the sequels

if something happens in 2012 we'll get "We told You So" in about 2020 after we fix things

if nothing happens in 2013 "It Was All A Job"

Why do you and the other ancient cultures all say something is gonna happen in 2012

Why not include some drawing of stuff us modern people could figure out.

But I wait for the live action version, supposedly its gonna happen right after my 37th birthday. so it ought to be a good time.

That was Cain, slew Able cause he was pissed god didn't like his offering. Incidentally it also proved that god isn't a vegetarian, but that is another thread entirely.

Mathematics, that's when this Baktun is going to end and the next one will begin, we had a lot of time on our hands, what without the internet and porn and all.

We tried, but them damn Spaniards, do you know how hard it is to keep stuff around when there are people that like to burn books? Try it sometime, see how your prophecies hold up.

Dude, really... Did Godzilla have all New Yorker's paranoid about being overrun by a giant lizard??? I seriously doubt that anyone will come away from this movie thinking it's a frakkin' documentary! Well, except for those who see it while wearing their tinfoil hats! Look at his movies: The Day After Tomorrow, Independence Day, etc. It's just his style. C'mon, loosen that tinfoil hat up a bit, it's cutting of the circulation!
